• "You know something, I think it's time for bit of a wardrobe change" Quinn commented to himself as he sat outside the large brown building that led into the Gaia Forums. The Chatterbox and GD areas had been he's hang out for the last few months, and so he had to admit, although reluctantly, that he had not left the town of Barton yet. Pretty sad if you think about it, since his parent's home was only about an hours walk from the town. Not only did Quinn think that it was time he went into one of the shops and bought some new clothing, but he thought that it would be a great excuse to go out and explore the other towns. There was one store in particular that he wanted very much to go into and explore, he had great things about the place, especially about the woman that ran it. So getting to his feet, Quinn made his way silently towards his destination which was a few towns over.

Before Quinn realized it, he was standing in front of her store. For a moment Quinn just stood there in shock and awe that he had actually managed to make this far out of the places that he had known most if his childhood without much effort. He always thought that it was going to take an act of god to move him from that same spot in front of the forums building. Quinn must have looked like a total wacko, standing outside the store front looking in through the window with his mouth wide open like some starving kid gawking at pastries.

"Are you going to come in, or are just going to stare at my rack all day?" A sarcastic but gorgeous voice finally managed to snap him from his self imposed delirium. Quinn face turned beet red in a matter of seconds.....had he really been starting at her rack? The woman must have been able to read his mind or something, because at the moment he thought she answered. "Not that rack, smart a**, it's the name of the store. Ruby's Rack." she said with a roll of her eyes and a exasperated sigh. Quinn could only wonder how many times Ruby had to content with the perverted minds of the Gaia male population in the course of any given day.

Again Quinn blushed, as he ran his finger through his miss kept purple hair. "I'm sorry Miss Ruby, I didn't mean to make that comment." Quinn said as he stepped into the store, where he promptly greeted by Ruby's only son. Ruby merely laughed and waved dismissively at his comment. "No worries young man I get those comments all the time." she laughed.

"Besides" she shrugged, "If I really hated that sort of attention, I wouldn't have renamed the store Ruby's rack." she laughed, placing her hand delicately in front her face. Almost without thinking, Quinn eye's had moved down from her face to her ample chest almost instantly when the word rack came out of her mouth. And it would have been obvious to a blind man what Quinn was looking at, he had never been one for subtlety.

"I'm up here junior." Ruby said in a semi-flat voice, Quinn turned beet read once again, tried desperately to think of an apology but when his mouth flew open, even he was astonished at spewed forth. "I'm sorry Ruby, there just so nice." And that was that, Quinn bolted from the store in a cloud of dust and panic. He ran full force back to his favorite spot, kicking himself for letting himself say that to her.

.......the strange thing was.....Quinn have sworn she was smiling......
