• My name is Cherry French.I'm a one year old student to Anderson Acadamy.
I belong to the Athletics Club, I'm a straight A+ student and I live here in the dorms.I used to be homeschooled, but when I heard about Anderson, I really thought it would be a good idea for my social life. It's Friday today and after classes and the tennis game, I'm going to see my Grandmother's house for the first time since she's move here.I can hardly wait because
I've always been the type to explore.
    ~Several Hours Later~
I get out of my Grandmothers expensive white car to take my first look at her huge, glamorous, white home.I rush inside impatiently holding the door for her.I can hardly help it.I wonder what it looks like from the top? That's where I'll start! The attic. As soon as Grandmother is through the door and, with her consent, I run up the stairs to look at her brilliant new abode.
It looked like a mansion downstairs, as I had noticed, with it's luxiurious appearence wich must indeed have cost her more than just a fortune. But, as I got higher and higher, the glory seemed to fade just a little bit.The walls were old and beat, the floor was creaky, and a rather...odd odor was emitting from behind a door.It smelled like a pasture, whic at first may not seem too odd, but I was nowere near such a place.
I sneaked up to the door and was ready to peer in when I abruptly heard my name and I almost hit my head, which might've gotten stuck it the cieling had I not composed myself quicker.I recognized the voice as soon as it reached the end of the 'Y' in my name.Violet? My friend from school, but what was she doing here?
As if she'd read my mind she said, "Your Grandmother sneaked me in here and told me to make you jump for snooping!"She giggled,"I hope I didn't scare you too badly...What were you doing anyway?"She asked curiosly.
"I'm going insane in all this curiosity, so I was looking around,NOT snooping."I stuck my tounge out at her jokingly and continued,"Would you like to join me Snoopy?"She nodded and agreed,"If you say so Charlie Brown~"I laughed a little at her joke, about the cartoon she loves to watch.
I turned around again to open the door, this time with no hesitation.I opened it and stepped inside to find a small room, in it was one window, barely enough space to fit you head. And an enourmous mirror. When I went over to touch it, just before my fingers touched the smooth glass, I stopped when Violet grabbed my hand and said,"Look at it!",when I did look clearly for the first time, I was not in the reflection. As I wondered about this, Violet nudged me forward a little, and I bumped into the mirror.
But instead of my elbow touching the glass it went right through, and Violet along with me.As I was falling, I didnt feel her hand or hear her screeming, but I new she fell out with me, so I looked back, and she was not there.
The next thing I knew, I'd landed.I opened my eyes, not feeling the sting of the fall,I scanned the area for anything soft, the next thing I saw was probably the person who caught me.She had pale skin and grey eyes, a black robe and extended dagger-looking objects. In a small voice not fit for the apprence, she said,"Look down, Fool! You have been captured by the Assassins!"After I registered these utterly confusing words into my head, I felt a cold sting of some object hitting the back of my head.
When I looked up again, I saw a pale boy this time.In a strong, husky voice he said to me,"Hello. You must be Cerise."I looked around to make sure he was talking to me, and noticed I was alone, with the exception to him.He startled me with his next abrupt sentance,"You are the heir to the Assassins.
You are to lead us to aid the world we live in!You're new name is Cerise, and you have no other option! You absolutely MUST lead us!"I saw the burn of dependance in his eye and said in a raspy voice,"What of Violet?"And as if I was speaking French, he cocked his head to one side and immediatly brushed off my otherwise rediculous question."Whatever Violet may be, you are our leader now.You must adhear to our regulations. You are not to leave this room for twelve days until your transformation is complete, until then, you will remain here, semi-dormant.Alright?I'll check up on you later!"He said without letting me ask a single question.I was so confused.Where was Violet?Where was Grandmother's house? What is the mirror?Where am I?What are the Assassins? All these questions and more spun in my head until it was all too late to notice a gas being emitted into the small white room, making me unable to move. After this imobility, and remembering the boy's words,I collapsed from exghaustion.
End of Part One to the first book.
