• "Elion, Please dont!" Sophia screamed at the top of her lungs. "It's what i must do."Elion replied. Elion stepped closer to the edge of the cliff and let the oceans waves crashing against jagged boulders drown out her friends voice. She closed her eyes and went to jump. But she was stopped. Sophia was holding on to the back of her dress. "You have to let go. I have to jump." Elion yelled over the roar of the waves. Sophia shook her head."Listen to me. What happened was an accident. Your parents weren't murdered. They were killed in a car crash. But that doesn't mean you have to commit suicide." Sophia said thru tears. Elion looked at Sophia. She knew she was right. Elion hugged her best friend and they laughed to each other. Then it all went wrong. Elion slipped back and found her self hanging on to the edge of the cliff for her life. "Grab my hand!" Sophia yelled. Elion grabbed her hand and was immediatly pulled to safety. The rushing winds tried pulling her down again but she was too strong. Sophia leaned over the cliff that her best friend almost fell off of and shivered. "Push!" Said Elion laughing. She loved playing jokes on people. But what she didn't expect happened when she opened her eyes. Sophia wasn't there. She ran to the edge. There were ripples where Sophia had hit the water. She suddenly felt awful and guilty. She shed a single silver tear. When it hit the ground, Elion drew in a deep breath. "This is for you Sophia." She said, as she jumped off the cliff.
