• It was a typical afternoon in the gypsy camp. The sun boiled the desert sand, the children

played their games in the shady cave, and the rest of the people were hard at work, preparing

for the harsh winter months, when the food was even scarcer in the desert. Sweat rolled down

Micah's face as he looked up at the sky, as he waited for the eclipse to come to shade him.

There have been eclipses every day recently. A sandstorm brewed, but Micah didn't mind. He

was used to sand being in his eyes. Besides, he was looking forward to some decent wind

anyway. He looked out into the distance and realized that it wasn't a sandstorm. Bandits were

coming! Their caravan blazed across the desert trail, and in no time at all, the invasion began.

The bandits loaded out of the carriage and raided the camp. Children were frozen in fear and

the adults couldn't do anything because katanas were being held to their necks.

Head Bandit: There ain't anything worth nothin' in this ol' heap o' trash y'all call a

gypsy camp! C'mon guys! Time fo' som destructifying!

Micah watched in pain as the bandits tore down the place he had once called home....
