• Man, she was fine.

My mind is elsewhere, as usual, during the entire duration of class. The teacher’s words droned on and on and on.

    How boring…

    “…You’re getting annoying…”

Hah. That brought one hell of a smile to my lips that night. How amusing! It was a first for any woman of any kind to say such a thing to me in such a vulgar and rude manner. But it was the first time I’ve felt such a brilliant connection and longing for a woman of this kind. It made me dream more than it made me irritable. This beautiful-looking woman, mature, and dangerous, so much like a Monarch Butterfly. Hah, she was so amazing.

    “Elix….Elix….Elix!”

The teacher was nagging at a student. Elix? Who the hell was Elix? Boy? Girl? Girl. Definitely girl. A girl I didn’t know. How uncanny. I was already turned fully around in my seat, my legs sprawled out in the row. I glanced at the sleepy culprit.

    She’s cute.

A trail of saliva was escaping from the corners of her soft-looking, pale pink lips. Her glasses were too low upon her smooth nose and her hair was in even more disarray than most, after waking up. I couldn’t help but grin as I expected to see a tinge of pink across her face or upon the ridges of her ears, but there was none. How surprising…

    Who is she?

A vague sense of familiarity tickled my being with a chilling pleasure. The same as the woman from last night…I played with the thought for a moment or two.

    Nahh, couldn’t be her.

It wouldn’t be possible. Here, a high school junior, could possibly be a dangerous, mature, beautiful woman? When all I saw was a geeky, decent, looking girl before me? No resemblance. At least, I didn’t see one. But…she’s was cute. I didn’t know her, either, let alone taken a chance at her…

    She’ll be my next target.
