• Chapter 1. Mondays

Monday. The ultimate worst day of the week to a typical teenager. I may not be typical, but mondays suck. Unless you
are a religious person and then maybe sabbath would be the worst day of the week. I would never know because, well i'm not
really into a real religion, unless myths counted as a religion... I'll check on that later. Now before I get too off topic,
it was a monday. It was a pain in the a** to get up in the first place, but today my pain in the a** would not begin 'till
later.I got up lazily out of bed, out of p.j.'s and into the shower.I was in and out fast. I got back to my room and started
tearing through my closet. It was neat, until this morning. Then again it didn't have much time to get messy seeming as this
was my second day in this house. I didn't expect to be here long but i wanted to look nice for my first day in my third
school this year. I know that may sound weird but let me explain.
My mom is a single parent. She is in and out of love all the time, and always having a bit of money problems.
We were in a third house because the first house burned down in the middle of the night because she was making dinner and
forgot about our messed up burners and the oil on the burner she turned on. Oops. So i was up in the middle of the night
and running out of our house before it blew up. I got hit with some flames though so i have a weird fire mark on my leg that
looks like a tatto. The second house... well she kinda got us ran out of town... which is why I can't go to North Dakota any
    more.
Now my mom and I look somewhat different, but everyone says we look so much alike (UGH).We both have big sky blue
eyes (mine are lighter, but that 'cuz i'm going blind before my 35 year old mom). We both have short hair, but for different
reasons. Mine is short because i'm lazy when it comes to doing hair, and I really don't have the motivation to do it. My mom
on the other hand, just loves bugging me so she has short hair. My hair is blond to go with my eyes. Her hair is a dark red,
but she dyes it so I don't think that counts. So though other than our eyes we look different (what, are people so blind that
they can't see the difference between us?) Whatever.
I got dressed in a mini-skirt and leggings with a tight pink shirt with a skull on it.I dragged my feet into the
kitchen and started pouring some coco puffs. (I hate that cereal, but its all we have.) My mom glanced up from her book,
and murmered "Someone's trying to be a outcast." I shot a glare at her. "I don't want to get to attached. I never know when
we have to move." She gave me an appologistic look and said "Sorry, if you really want to blame someone, blame Matt." I
    sighed.
Matt was Mom's Ex-boyfriend in ND.He was okay when it came down to it, but if you really knew him, he was a d**k.
I don't curse so much, but its a monday as i said, and i have to go to school.
Not wanting to hurt her, I ate quick then dried my hair, got a random book off the shelf, kissed her cheek and ran
out the door yelling "Bye mom, see you at 3, don't forget the newspaper, so you can get a job." Running up to the stop and
took a deep breath. It smelled like the smoke that was pooring out of a truck that stoped a bit in front of me.I glared at
the two men that got out. Great, i haven't even gotten to school, and people were already coming towards me. It didn't help
that this was a small town, so everyone knew everything.
I took a quick glance at the plate.I took a mental picture, just in case. The men came walking toward me.Not being able
stand the silence, I waved. The men smiled and with a sly look on their face gave me a wave. They got closer and I got kinda
pissed.I could tell they thought I was a simple, helpless girl, as any girl at school I have gone to.When they came in range,
I got in fighting stance. There was muffled laughter, and they got a bit closer. I kicked one of them in the head, not
noticing the bus that came rolling up behind me. The guy I didn't kick, started dragging the other guy away and drove off.
Taking a deep breath, and looking up I saw yellow. Great, even more trouble. I got on, my head down, and walked to
the back. Everyone was watching me. The guy in front of me looked at me and said "I've never seen you around here, you must
be the new girl." I glanced up from the book."Yeah, I'm the new girl. Do you have a problem?" I swear I have never seen
a person so scared. His cow eyes got big and worried and he stamered "N-n-n-no i don't have a problem."
My monday in this small town it turning out just jolly. Not even 2 hours after i woke up, I had 2 guys come to
try and rape me, had an entire bus scared shitless about me, and my mom pissed. Just wonderful.

    Chapter 2. The school

I looked and i saw stares. Everyone was looking at me, and I just stood in awe. Where were all the metal detectors,
all the cameras, and gaurds, that I had gotten so used to, that this was like a new planet? Well, at least the reactions
of the people around me were the same. I waved, and noise burst out everywhere. Slowly, and ambushed by questions, I walked
to the office. Finally inside it, I took a sigh of relief, and walked to the desk.Acting shy I looked up with my "innocent
blue eyes" and said "Hi I'm the new girl, and I need my scedule." She looked up, and in her eyes, I could see she was
puddy in my hands. She handed me my scedule, a planner, and a peice of paper. "Have the teachers sign the paper and return
it at the end of the day." She smiled, I nodded and walked to my first class.
Because I was early to class, the teacher looked up quickly when I walked in virtually silent. "What may I help you
with young miss?".She was a short, pixie like woman, that looked in her twenties.Quick to reply, i mearly said
"Your supposed to be my homeroom class and first hour. Can I have my com. and a comprimise?" The woman looked at me with
    curious eyes."What kind of comprimise?"
"I was thinking, I can do some work in here every morning for this week, if you skip the whole introduction to the class
    thing."
She smiled, and giggled. "I'm sorry but some people might not know your name." I cursed beneath my breath and sighed."If I must I will Ms.Schwarts."
She handed me a peice of paper and I went to my locker to put almost nothing in it.
Coming back, the halls were quiet. I walked slow thinkng of the reactions my classmates would give me. They would either bombard me with
questions, or run away like they saw a ghost...either way wouldn't bother me. Then there was another person. The person looked at me, smiled and walked away.
Who was that person? And why did he smile? I thought I was alone out here. My mind twirled with questions. I got back to class, and Ms. Schwarts said
"Ah, there she is. Please tell us your name and a bit about yourself, things like, your likes, your hates, and hobbys."
"My name is... well, you can figure it out eventually. Things I like, there are lots of things I like. Things I dislike, well, there are a lot of things i dislike also.
If you really want to know, I don't have an ambition for when i get out of school. Hobbys, well, I like to read, sing, and go on the computer." I said quickly and
smugly. Why let them know about me if I might not be here long. Mrs.Schwarts looked at me unhappily and sat at her desk. "Alright class, lets reveiw."
This was all too easy. I had already learned all of the art techniques she was teaching. It kinda bored me. There were a few people in my class that
seemed pretty good. There was about 3 kids, including the one that I made s**t himself. Hahaha. Actually, there was another person from my bus in there.
She was pretty. And was that purple in her hair? I have yet another thing to check later. After that I walked to Science. Yet another one of my good subjects.
That went as easily as art. Social Studies was next. It was easier than both classes, to the point where I could have been teaching. Lunch was up next, and this
was the only place I was worried about. After getting my lunch I skimmed the room. I could see all the clicks.
The jocks were closest to the kitchen. There was a door outside after them. Then there was a set of weird people. Continuing, were the jocks with
girlfriend cheerleaders. More weird kids, and then the weird popular kids.

    Chaper 3. My new click

I walked around trying to see a place to sit. One girl stood out among the rest, and I walked towards her. She glanced up and continued talking and
eating with her friends. My tone matched my feeling. "Can I sit with you and your friends?" I looked at her friends and there was the cow-eyes kid again.
Without a response I sat down next to her. She half-smiled and then ate some more. After a bite I looked at cow-eyes. "Hey cow-eyes, you remember me?"
He looked at me with a deer in headlights look and said nervously, "Yeah, nice to meet you scary chick." I laughed like bells and people all around looked at me.
I shruged and said "Hey, so what if I have a suprano laugh." Cow-eyes glared at me and said " I have a name you know." He looked a little erritated.
I laughed again and replied "What if I like calling you cow-eyes?" He looked kinda pissed, then he noticed who he was talking to, and shrunk. Everyone else
at the table laughed. The tension at the table was relived.
I decided to ask. "Hey, can I learn something about you to call you by until I figure out your real names?" They looked at me funny. "I'm sorry, I
didn't explain. I like challenges, so I would like to know something to call you, not your real names. Besides, when I do figure out your names, I can have
pet names for you." The questioning look dropped from their faces. A girl with beautiful long brown hair said "well, I love to read, and I love horses." I smiled.
"Alright, I'll call you book horse. Next person please." The next person was the girl with purple in her hair. Before she even spoke I interupted her.
"You don't need to tell me about you, I'm going to call you purple-hair. Next." The next person in line was a freaky tall girl. She was twice as big as me, and
from the looks of everyone else, she was scary, or a b***h. "I wanna call you tall b***h. Do you wanna tell me anything about you kicker?"
Kicker, the girl that caught my eye, said "What did you just call me?"
"I called you kicker, 'cause you look like a kick a** girl." She smiled. I knew from that she approved. I looked around the room again, and there he
was, yet again. The boy from the hall. Who the hell was he? And why did he smile? GAH, HE FUSTRATES MEH!!!! I decided to act sensable and ask
"Who is that guy?"They looked at me like I was a creature from space. "I never said I had a interest, i just want to know." Kicker snickered. "His name
is Eiar. Why do you ask?" I glanced at him again. "I saw him in the hall and he looked and smiled at me. It was weird, 'cuz no one has smiled
at me ever on my first day until I make their names and tell them."
They all laughed. I don't get why. I finished eating and walked over to the garbage, and before I even noticed, he was there. "hey." he said so
smooth, I almost melted right there, and I don't do that. "Hey" I said back wishing I would just go invisible right then and there. He smiled big.
"You wanna sit with me and my friend tomorrow?" That was almost my breaking point. He was hot, and yet it wasn't actually him that was hot, it was his
    eyes.
His eyes were were green-blue with red around the rims. His hair was a emo cut that was blue with green tips. he was slightly taller than me and
talked with an extremly smooth voice. Dear god I have the hots for someone.

My thoughts were interupted when he tapped me on the shoulder. "I gotta go, I'll see you later. By the way, I'm gonna call you mystery." With that
he took my chin and quick kissed my nose. My hand self-consiously toutched my nose. I walked back over to my new friends. "What was that all about?" They
asked as i sat down. "I don't know, but I think I may have liked it." Kicker smiled and snickered. "Looks like Eiar is taking prey on the new girl." "What do
you mean, Kicker?" I asked hoping that my voice was flat and stable. "It means, a lot of people would go after you, but now that he is after you, nobody is
going to come near you." "Seriously?" "Yeah, he's coolest of the cool, but he's also protective over who he goes after, so you better watch out." She put up her
hands like claws and and acted like she bit me.

    Chapter 4. The Aftermath

When the day was over I got on the bus. It smelled liked nasty, untoutched, bologna sandwich. Even worse, I hate bologna. Going to the back of the
bus I waved to purple hair and book horse. I poked cow-eyes in the forhead with my middle finger and sat down. The best thing of poking with my middle finger
is that at the same time, I'm flipping them off. Haha. I got home and went up to my room. I turned on my slow computer and looked at my emails. One of them
popped up and I clicked it. When it finally opened, I read the message. It said...
Dear Mystery, looks like everyone thinks your my prey. I might just have to keep up to their standards.
    See you tomorrow, Eiar.

I was actually scared when I saw the message. If he could this easily get my e-mail, how much harder could it be to get my address, or my phone
number. Right then as to add to my worries, the phone rang. And because we don't have calller ID, I had no clue who was calling. "Hello, who is this?" I asked
with a semi-woried tone. "Hey, it's me mom, I'll be home in a few minutes. I've got groceries, so be ready to help me take them in." I took a sigh of relief. I was
glad when it wasn't Eiar. I really wondered how he got my e-mail adress. Right as I was going downstairs to grab a snack, mom pulled up. I walked outside
biting an apple in my mouth. Quickly grabbing some groceries, I put them away and I went back up to my room. Sitting in one of the multiple chairs I had in my
room, I started to read a manga called Death Note. It was really good. Then the door bell rang. This is where my pain in the a** starts.

Chapter 5. (hopefully) A longer chapter this time.

"SWEETHEART, THERE'S A PERSON HERE LOOKING FOR YOU, I'LL SEND THEM UP TO YOUR ROOM." Well, at least my mom trusts
me with people in my room. I walk over to the bookshelf to put away Death Note and then I heard his voice again. "Hey Mystery," My worst fears realized, he
got my address. "I couldn't wait until tomorrow, so I decided to find out where you lived. I wasn't that hard. The school really needs to work on protecting
their students information. By the way, sorry to randomly come to your house like this, I didn't have a cell phone on me, so I couldn't call your house." Eiar
smiled and looked like he thought he had just made the funniest joke ever.
"Well, you calling would have been nice... Also letting me know you were going to stalk me would have been nice too." Eiar laughed. "I never said
I was going to do this often," He got real close and pushed me against a wall, "Unless of course, you like it." I did like it, but I wasn't going to just randomly
tell him that. I mean, I barely know the guy, and have just met him. That was against the girl code of liking guys (a code never writen, and never followed...by
me.) I walked over and ploped down onto my bed. Good thing I had already changed into my pajamas. I then layed down and closed my eyes.
When I opened them again Eiar was right near my face. "What are you doing?!" I said loudly. "Shhhhh," Eiar said, "Your mom thinks I left some
time ago. I came in through the back door after she was asleep." I looked at my alarm clock. It was a bit after midnight. "I don't care if you stay in my room
for a while, but why were you so close to my face?" I rubbed my eyes and looked at him again. He sighed. " I was hoping to get a quick kiss before I left. While
you were sleeping it was intoxicating how innocent your face looked, the way you were breathing, how gently your chest was rising and falling. I usually control myself more, but this
time I couldn't." His eyes showed he was in pain. " Look, you know the rumors about me taking prey on you?" I nodded my head. "Well, take them as a
warning. I don't want to end up hurting you." With that he opened up my bedroom window and jumped out.
My mind in a sleepy haze, I layed back down and fell asleep. The song Untoutched ran through my head.
The next morning when I woke up, my head was bursting at the seems with fantasies, questions, and wonders. I looked at the alarm clock and was
alreadylate. I got dressed quickly in a black-on-black onsomble and ran down the stairs. "Cya later Mom, I'm late for school." My mom had a perplexed look
on her face, as I have never been so egar to get to school. But I only wanted to go because Eiar would be there. So far, the only man in my life that i can stand,
yet hate at the exact same time.
The bologna bus camp up quickly behind me. I stepped on and walked to the back where Cow-eyes was sitting and ploped down.
"Hey, Scary Chick, how was your night?" Cow-eyes said without a clue. When he asked this I sighed, thinking of what had happened the night
before. Cow-eyes snickered. "Sounds like you had a pretty good night. Wanna tell me about it?" I nodded. "It was scary, wonderful, perplexing, and filled with
desire." Cow-eyes contemplated. "You said you don't have an interest in Eiar, and I didn't see you looking at any guys....Wait, are you a lesbian?" I laughed.
"No , I'm not a lesbian, and who said I wasn't looking at any guys?" "The entire boy population of our grade. The boys started to get jelous when they saw
you sneeking looks at Eiar. Trust me, if you aren't careful, you will be like a porno in prison." I smiled. "I like that saying, Cow-eyes, 'Like a porno in prison'"
THen I remembered that today I have lunch with Eiar.
At this I smiled and slightly blushed. Cow-eyes smiled and didn't say another word as we had arived at school. As I stepped off the bus I looked for
Eiar. When I saw him looking at me I turned my eyes in a different direction. It was weird being so girly. I began to hum a random song. The song ended up being Curse of Curves by Cute is What We Aim For. I got into the school and barely survived the first few classes before lunch.
