• The sky was black and the clouds were close together. I was waiting in the main hallway to the Hellsing estate for a certain vampire. I tapped my foot as I heard a noise from the top of the stairs. I glanced up as a certain No-Life King strutted downstairs. He quickly jumped down the stairs and kept walking past me. I rolled my eyes and spun on my heels, following him as I grabbed my sword from beside the door as well as my cloak. I slipped the cloak on over my head and strapped the sword to my hip. Alucard, being the a**hole he is, just kept on strutting even when I asked him to slow down. He just craned his head back and smirked at me at my attempts to catch up. I finally groaned and just kicked it into hyper drive. I was quickly standing beside him matching him stride for stride. The rain began falling, but only a light drizzle. He quickly tried to step it up, and I just picked my pace up. He finally sighed and slowed to a brisk walk. I looked up at him and waited to see if he would eventually talk to me.

"What do you want?" he asked, looking down at me. I averted my gaze and said, "Nothing. I was just wondering if..."I quickly clamped my mouth shut and looked away. He paused and chuckled before walking along the path we were following. I had never been down here, but Alucard said that there was something that I might like to see down here. I climbed over and the hill and my breath hitched in my throat. It was a beautiful field of flowers, filled with red roses, black roses, blue roses, every colored rose. I ran down the hill and gazed at all the flowers surrounding me. I looked out of the corner of my eyes to see him smiling. Not smirking. Smiling. I smiled myself and progressed to picking roses, being mindfull of the thorns. However, I was distracted my a field mouse scurrying off and accidentally pricked myself in the finger. I put my finger in my mouth and hoped the scent of my blood wouldn't reach Alucard. Sadly, I wasn't fast enough in covering the wound. He was standing in front of me pulling my finger out of my mouth. I blushed as he licked the wound. I tore a piece of cloth from my cloak and wrapped it around my finger. I looked down and began walking back to the manor. I guess today wasn't like any other day as I thought it would be. I glanced behind me to see Alucard staring at the moon. I looked up and smiled; it was a full moon. I continued my walk and was greeted by Integra and Seras on the steps. I hid my finger and greeted them, then retreated to my room. I looked on my nightstand to see an onyx necklace with a note underneath. The note read, "Perhaps we could spend some more time together. Tell no one about this note, or about tonight. That will be our little secret. Alucard I smiled and crawled into bed, not bothering to put my nightclothes on. Dawn was approaching, and soon everyone would be asleep. I closed my eyes and drifted into a blissful sleep... besides the occasional dream about what happened.
