    Prologue

The world is not perfect. There are... anomolies. Creatures that will seek to do you harm. To those of you who live in fear...
The origins of these creatures are shrouded in secrecy. But according to legend... These creatures were once the original habitants of this land. When they vanished people flourished.
Humans... Untamed... Winged elves... and other magical creatures. For a time... They lived in peace. Then came the discovery of Heaven's Tear... and the advent of war.
For a thousand years our people fought for control of the sacred city. Territories were won... and lost. Bonds were made... and broken.
The very Earth shook with the forces of battles.
Then, as the fires of war raged to their feircest... an ancient threat re-emerged. The creatures long last to be extinct returned to full force... more corrupt and malevolent than ever before.
Not living, but not quite dead...
These monstrosities became known as Rainoks. With the three races desperately engaged in civil war... the Rainoks conquered all that they touched with little resistance.
They have overrun our land. Corrupted our temples. It will not be long before all is lost.
I am Morrick, creator of the prophecies. Some would call me a wizard or a God. But I am merely a caretaker.
It was I who created the Humans, in this world, with the knowledge of growth... Blessed the winged elves ability to fly... Imbued the untamed with capacity to self awareness.
But the Rainoks were my gravest mistake... I erased them once before. But I cannot do so again.
As the sun sets in the fire-blowned sky... so concludes the age of the prophecies.
I am dieing, I can no longer be the keeper and caretaker of this world and keep it safe.
Therefore I leave custody of this world... to the new generation of heroes. Seven warriors, that will come from a different world. With their power together they will restore our world to the proper state and take it back from the Rainoks.
I leave my trusted friend to find the first of the warriors that will lead and find the others.
There courage will be required. Sacrifice. Unity. This perfect world is at an end. But the quest to reclaim it... has only just begun.

    Chapter One

A fifteen year old girl looks up to the deep, blood-red sky. Far off in the distance, the sun shines black, releasing a strange glow instead of the normal warmth it gives.
Black clouds swirl in the sky. The ancient and crumbling city behind her is full of agonizing screams and evil laughter that can continually be heard in the distance.
But, she is not in the city anymore; she's is in a field, running from the monstrosity that stalks her. She does not know the name of the monstrosity, that can kill mercilessly.
A little boy no more than five years of age is with her, holding her hand. The little boy as short brown hair and strange glowing blue eyes.
She does not know his name nor has she ever seen him before now, but yet, She is still trying to help him. The little boy is so small and inccocent. They are, both of them, in the field that is accupied by a mass of dead bodies. There is a occasional patch of dry brown dirt amid the slushy and mostly red mud, red from the being saturated with the blood of the dead corpses.
Dead bodies lay in a heaping mounds and completely surround them. They are running as fast as they can, endlessly over the decaying red bodies.
The little boy trips over a body and is forced rips his hand away from her's.
The girl turns around wanting to stop and help the little boy, but the monstrosity is so close!
There was nothing to be done but hope his death was a quick one. Unfortunately it is not!
The girl turns around and called to the little boy to keep moving!
Too late... As the little boy stands up, with waves of tears streaming down his virtous face, the monstrosity grabs him from behind and stabs the little boy with a knife. A painful knife that has acid that runs through the entire body. Devouring everything that it touches.
The girl knew she should run, but she couldn't. She was frozen to the spot. The little boy lets out tortous screams as the monstrosity overwhelmes him with the stabs of the acid knife.
His screams fill the air with each time he is stabbed. No one should suffer like that, thought the girl in horror.
She watches as the monstrosity stabs his victim through the little boy's young flesh, blood pooring down his arms like a red waterfall.
His skin has dissappeared, leaving only his vulnarble muscles exposed to the acid from the knife.
His bare skull is visable, and yet he continues to scream in torment. She watches as the muscles disappear to the bones that crumble to ash and finally all gone together.
The monstrosity turns around to look at the girl, with it's blood red eyes. His Acid knife in one hand, he slowly starts to move foreward to her.
    She turns around and runs.
"That fate will not befall me!" She yells.
Her body aches in agony as she runs...
"How long have I've been running? Where am I going?" she yelled to herself. "I don't know but I hope I get there fast!"
Just then, unexpected hands close around her neck and she is pulled to the ground. The monstrosity has caught up to her applying pressure to her neck. She wanted to scream but was unable to breath.
She tries to wriggle her self free but with no such luck. Red and blue dots cloud her vision, as the pain of not being able to breath hurt her. She needed to Breath now. She lets out one final breath to say one last word.
    "HELP!"
And then her world went black.
