• There once was a girl named Arah, she lived in a world of many happy things. But one day, she turned into stone. With her heavenly face she seemed like one of the many beautiful arts. And she stayed a masterpiece for many years, so many years.

Until one day, she awoke and the stones fell off her body. She breathed, and was suddenly older, looking as a true woman. Her hair shined brightly off the sun, like a goddess. And her eyes where green, oh so green and shined with hope. She looked at her new body, over her hands and her beautiful dress.

    With her ecstatic hope she ran for her home town. She ran first to her parents, and embraced them at first sight. But they pushed her away;
"Who are you! What are you doing in our home?"

Arah was suddenly confused, they didn't remember their own daughter?

"I am Arah, second born to you, I was imprisoned in stone and finally awoke. Here I am mother, father!"
She raised her arms, but let them drop as horror filled her lungs. They really hadn't remembered her. She ran to town and found her friends, but they still had blank faces, they had long forgotten Arah.

So she ran to the house of her best friend, she would truly remember, she had to.

She stopped as she saw her. She had a smile on her face and was looking behind her, talking to someone. She looked forward and waved to Arah.

"Savanna! You remember me! How i was so hopeless! But you-"

She cut of as the person behind her came. It was another one of Arah's best friends. Matthew. Her first friend, her first love. Only instead of the smile she so wanted, he held contempt over her. His eyes where glowing with hate.

He held is head high, and smiled to Savanna. "Let me speak to her." He said and then kissed her lightly on the cheek.

He walked over joyfully until he was out of sight of Savanna. He grabbed Arah by the neck and held a fist to her mouth.
"How DARE YOU." he said, his voice vibrating with power. "I told you to leave, and never return. You put her through so much pain, but with your conceitedness, you obviously don't know how to stay away."

"No," Arah breathed. "No, why would I ever her her? She was-"
    Arah cut off.
    "Does she remember me?"
"Why would she want to?" Matthew replied with venom. "Everyone forgot you because you didn't matter to anyone." He tightened his grip. "Why don't you remember what you did to her? Maybe that will help. Now leave, you will never_"

"But," Arah said scratching at Matthew's hands for purchase of air." If she doesn't remember what I did why can't I start over?"

    "You have."

And then, like rough winds in a storm, it hit her, Arah realized everything. Matthew released her and she ran. She ran back to the stone shards, and remembered everything. [cuts this part of story out]

And so, Arah stands with the shards in her hands. Her angel face crumbling.

"How can you fall in love, when we are sent to marry? Why must you do this, you promised me!"

"You promised me too Savanna! I wasn't-"

Tears escape her and there is a sharp pain in her stomach. Her angel face is gone, so she picks up the rest and smashes them to dust, and as she is holding the heart of her once stone body, and drops it. The second it hit the ground and turned to dust, Arah did too.
