• In the land of Adestra, resides a village full of unknown creatures called catgirls or nekos for short. The village is isolated from others since it’s surrounded by two rivers. One on the left and one on the right. In the year 3019, Honey Clover Village is peaceful but it won‘t be for long.
“Neena come on!” One of her friends called as they ran out into the field.
“Hey wait! I have the heavy picnic basket remember?!” She called as her friends laughed then stopped.
“Oh come on, it’s not that heavy.”
“Yeah, it can’t be that heavy Neena and besides, you’re stronger than all of us and you can fight if we get into trouble.” Her other friend said as Neena sighed.
“Okay fine but you girls owe me.” She told them as they nodded and continued towards the field.

Once they reached the field, Ariana set down a checkered mat while Neena put down the picnic basket. Neena was a seventeen year old neko with purple fur on her legs, arms, chest, and cheeks. Even her tail and ears were purple. Her hair was orange and her eyes were yellow while her skin is coffee-toned with a tint of pink. On her neck was a red collar with a small bell on it. Her friend Ariana, has blue hair, ears, and a white tail while her eyes are green and her skin is light brown. Neena’s last friend Daphne has brown hair, pink skin, black ears and tail, with yellow eyes. Neena smiled as she pulled out the plastic plates and put them in front of her friends then put the food in the middle so they could get what they wanted. Neena then pulled out a little radio and popped in a cd so they could listen to music while they ate.

However, unbeknownst to them that they were being watched. “Sir, do you think they’ll comply?”
“No, no I don’t but that’s what weapons are for. We attack in five.” He said as the other people with him nodded.
“So Neena, what are you going to do this weekend?” Daphne asked.
“I don’t know, I may have to go to combat training this weekend if I don’t go tomorrow.” She said as she bit into a sandwich.
“Aww, you never seem to be able to have fun Nina.” Ariana told her.
“I know but it can’t be helped. My parents want me to be able to protect myself just in case I want to go and explore someday.” She told them as they continued their little chat. While they were eating, the leader put up three fingers and then pointed them towards the girls. The men with him took that as a signal and charged at the girls which made Neena quickly stand and hiss at them as her friends stood behind her.
“Neena, I’m scared.” Ariana said as Daphne hid behind Ariana.
“Come with us and nobody gets hurt.”
“Why are you here?!” Neena exclaimed as she unsheathes her claws and hisses while growling at them.
“We just want you three to come with us.”
“Not a chance!” She exclaimed as the men moved closer.
“Neena, what are we going to do?” Ariana asked.

Neena looked at the men and tried to figure out how many there were. “Daphne.”
    “Y-yes?”
“Grab Ariana’s hand.” Neena said as Daphne nodded and grabbed Ariana’s hand.
    “Okay, I have her hand.”
“On three, I want you two to run through the forest and take the opposite path back to the village.”
    “The long way?”
“Yes, the long way. On three, I’m going to tell you to run for it. ON two, I want you two to bolt since three is my count to take them out. Keep running and don’t look back. When you reach the village, tell them where I am. Don’t look for me at all.” She informed them. “Got it?” She asked as the girls nodded and got ready.
“Alright, one….two…” She said as the girls ran off quickly.
“Hey! Stop them!” One of the men called.
“Three!” Neena exclaimed as she charged at the men and started to claw at them while her friends ran off.
“I won’t let you hurt my friends!” She exclaimed as she grabbed one of the fallen man’s dagger and used that along with her claws to attack them.
She was doing well until the leader came out of nowhere and shot at her, knocking the dagger out of her hand which she dropped to the ground.
“You monster!” She exclaimed as one of the felled men who hadn’t been fatally wounded came from behind and hit her in the back of the head with the butt of his gun, causing her to collapse to the ground, her eyes half way open. As she laid there, she saw the other men run after her friends before she fell into darkness and let it envelope her.
