    Prologue



    tab In the year 25XX the world had begun to recover from the last great war caused by Serpent's use of Model W's power. However this power was once again abused and the devastation that followed was horrible. A female reploid by the name of Serenity stumbled across a tiny fragment of Model W and became possessed by it's power. The fragment had absorbed into her when she picked it up and Serenity gained tremendous power. She acquired many abilities, but the most useful was time travel.

    tab Serenity used this power to go to the past and enlist the help of the Mavericks of old. Many of these Mavericks include: Dr. Wily, Sigma, Dr. Weil, Lumine, Dr. Doppler, Gate, Serpent, Master Albert, and many more. She took her Maverick army back to 25XX and waged war on the populace.

    tab Many heroes fell before Serenity's army forcing the rest to retreat. It seemed that all hope was lost, but in their darkest moment; in their bloodiest battle. X returned to them and used a Cyber Elf technique. This ability banished the entirety of Serenity's army of Mavericks to a prison like dimension where they would spend the rest of their days.

    tab It is now the year 29XX and the Mavericks have figured out a way to escape their prison. However, the Reploids were not going to taken by surprise this time. They gathered any remaining forces from the first war with Serenity and with Commander X as their leader they were ready to fight, but everyone knew the had no reserves for this next war. Using quick thinking X took Model ZX and using the remainder of his Cyber Elf powers he remade his and Zero's bodies.

    tab Now Zero and X were back in action. They found as many old allies as they could, but since they couldn't go back in time like Serenity their army was still limited in reserves. Everyone they did have though are ready to fight in one hell of a war.
