• Chapter 1- A Friend's Betrayal

Andy was laying down on his couch, just flipping through the channels on his TV, when someone knocked on his front door. "Hang on!" Andy yelled as he got off the couch and slipped on a pair of pants. He opened the door, it was Andrea, his best friend's wife, Andy invited her in and said "what are you doing here?".

Andrea closed the door and said "I've been so lonely since Alex left for New York" as she sat down on the couch.

Andy glared at her from the chair across from the couch and said "Don't give me that Andrea, since he's been gone you've been sleeping with Seth Amos"

She stood up and said "I know but he's busy tonight" as she sat on his lap and started to kiss him. Andy pushed her away, but she just moved back forward and continued. Even though Andy tried to fight her off, soon she got her way and Andy did something he would come to regret.

    ONE WEEK LATER

Alex walked into the Southern Bell and sat down at the bar, "Hi Andy, What's up?" he said.

The bartender sat a beer down in front of Alex and Andy said "I got some bad news that's gonna hurt.". Alex took a swing of his beer and Andy continued "I'm your best friend and you know that's right, but your young bride ain't home tonight. Since you been gone she's been seeing that Amos boy, Seth".

Alex stood up and with his eyes burning red, he threw his beer to the ground and said "I'm gonna kill him, you just wait".

Andy grabbed his shoulders and said "Boy don't you lose your head, cause to tell you the truth I've been with her myself". After Andy told his sins, Alex looked away from him and Andy took his chance to get away. Andy didn't live far from the bar so he quickly walked home, knowing he just lost a friend. At home, Andy went out tho his back porch and grabbed himself a beer.

Hours had passed since Andy left the bar, and in that time he cried and he cried, drowning his tears in some high class beer. Andy became afraid when he heard the crunching of leaves behind the porch. The back porch door opened and Andy said "Why are you here? Leave me alone!". There was a gunshot and Andy fell to the ground, with a bullet in his chest he wouldn't live long. Blood oozed out quick, and Andy knew he'd been beat, but he still dragged himself to his nearby cell phone to call the police. Another blast in the head and Andy was dead.
