• heart Chapter One
Quote: My daydreams were all unreal, until now.

“Sit up, Tina!” growled Mrs. Frowl. I snapped back into the real world.
“Huh?” I asked with a dazed voice.
“Get up! And march to the principal! Tell her I sent you because you fell asleep!” Mrs. Frowl commanded.
“Ok, ok! I’ll stay awake! Please Mrs. Frowl I promise to not fall asleep again!” I protested.
Mrs. Frowl lifted her pointy chin and sniffed,”Fine but if I catch you one more time! Out! Got it?” Mrs. Frowl yelled, in a sarcastic tone.
“Yeah, yeah, gotcha,” I said with a sarcastic tone and face.
“I mean it Tina Carol Sue!” Mrs. Frowl shouted in my face. Talk about rough! My faced turned bright red because I hated it when people called me by my full name. I just nodded and Mrs. Frowl walked away. When her back was turned, I stuck my tongue out at her.
My three best friends, Jennifer, Kaila, and Joyce, saw me and bursted out laughing. This made Mrs. Frowl turn back.
“Miss Jennifer, Kaila, and Joyce you may now join Tina in detention.” Mrs. Frowl announced. They sat dumb-founded. Then Jennifer started crying because she never got in trouble, and she was a little more sensitive.
I raised my hand, “Mrs. Frowl that isn’t fair! You never said I was in detention! And all my friends did was laugh because they saw me do something silly! You can’t make someone go to detention just because they laughed!” I objected.
Mrs. Frowl glared at me and then answered, “Yes, Tina you are right about making someone go to detention for laughing, but for sleeping in class and making fun of the teacher! I am sorry to say this… but you are suspended.”
My jaw dropped open so wide I thought it would touch the floor.
“Tina?” a small voice whispered when Mrs. Frowl went back to teaching.
“Yeah Jenny? What’s up?” I asked.
“I’m sorry. Really I am! If I hadn’t laughed you wouldn’t have been suspended,” Jenny cried.
“Hey! Jenny don’t cry! Everything will be all right! I think I’ll enjoy not coming to school and not being yelled by Mrs. Frowl. Think! No Mrs. Frowl! Ahh! I can’t wait!” I said, but I felt the tears come into my eyes I wondered what would happen to me. For sure my mom was going to yell her head off when she hears about this.
“What about your mom? Won’t she yell at you and make you come again? Because we all know her how she would act…Why don’t you sleep over at my place I can tell your mom? She won’t disagree if I asked.” Jenny said.
That’s what I love about Jenny. She always thinks about what I think.
“Ok! Thanks Jenny! You are a life-saver!” I said a little too loud because then everybody turned to look at me.
“Tina? Jennifer? Are you two chatting over there? I am surprised Tina after you already got in trouble.” Mrs. Frowl said.
I shook my head,” No. Mrs. Frowl! I was taking notes! Why would I want to get in more trouble? I would never!” I cried in my best goodie-good-good voice.
Everyone in the classroom bursted out laughing.
“Tina!!!” Mrs. Frowl growled,” If you don’t put yourself together I will have to expel you!” “You can’t!” I cried in dismay.
“You can’t because then my mom is going to sue you and you will be fired!!!” I yelled. By then everyone stopped laughing and was watching the action and tension growing between me and Mrs. Frowl.
“Actually Tina I think your mother would be on my side if I tell her about your silliness.” Mrs. Frowl said calmly.
“Mrs. Frowl?’’ Kaila asked with her hand raised.
I could tell she was coming to my rescue because she put on her best innocent face.
“Yes, Kaila?” Mrs. Frowl asked stiffly.
“Umm… Can I go to the bathroom? And also can I take Tina?”
Kaila was one of Mrs. Frowl’s favorite so was Jennifer and Joyce. It’s weird that the three favorites of everyone are my best friends and I was a troublemaker but I was popular too! One thing that we had in common was our parents were lawyers who were well known.
“Yes, you may but don’t take long because I need to finish my little chat with Tina. Do I have that clear?” Mrs. Frowl growled.
“Yes! Of course! Thanks Mrs. Frowl!” Kaila exclaimed as she dragged me out of my chair.
“How did you do that?!” I demanded when we got out of the classroom.
“Obedience,” Kaila answered,” you should try it! It will help you out a lot!”
“Whatever.” I said bitterly,” Now why did you drag me down here?”
“I’ve got a plan!” Kaila said impatiently,” and we better hurry! Of else I’ll get in trouble too!”
“Ok, what is it?” I asked.
“Well… I was thinking if you pretended you were sick and I went to class and told Mrs. Frowl what happened and you be let off the hook!” Kaila exclaimed. I nodded sounded like a good plan.

“Ok then! Let’s head towards the office hurry act like you just threw up!” Kaila said. I put on my best sick face and we headed out towards the office.
“Mrs. Larne?” Kaila asked in her sweet little voice.
“Oh! Hello there Miss…Well what’s the matter?” Mrs. Larne asked.
“Kaila is my name and well you see here my friend, Tina got sick. I asked to go to the bathroom chose Tina to be my partner and when coming down Tina told me she didn’t feel good. I told her don’t worry it might just be a gas reaction. But I was wrong when I was done I saw Tina standing in a puddle of baff. I cleaned it all up so you don’t have to worry but you see I must hurry to class now! So would you mind taking her to the nurse? Thanks!” Kaila called and rushed off.
“Oh my! Are you okay darling? Here sit down! You look awful!” Mrs. Larne exclaimed, “Now what grade you are in Hun?”
“Sixth grade.” I answered in a croaky voice.
“Oh! You poor little girl! You are in Mrs. Frowl’s class! Well don’t you think she is so cruel? Now don’t tell I told you this but I think everyone in this school truly hates her! Soon I bet the principal will probably fire her!” Mrs. Larne exclaimed.
I nodded and felt a smile lift up in my face. Mrs. Larne went to call the school nurse, who came in so quick I thought she must have already been in the room!
“Oh my!!! You look horrible! How do you feel sweetie?” the nurse asked in a voice that made me feel like a baby. I was really annoyed but I had to keep going.
“Not so great Nurse. I feel like I am falling down and I feel so cold and I feel so dizzy like I am going to faint anytime!” I said in my croaky voice again.
“Oh! And you don’t sound so good either! Guess we’ll have to send you home! You need lots of rest!” the nurse started heading towards the phone.
“Wait!” I yelled almost forgetting to do my croaky voice,” None of my parents will be home they are lawyers and are traveling for awhile! I am staying at my friend’s house! Her number is (650)-945-6678.”
“Okay Hun! Don’t worry you gave quite an outburst there!” the nurse said, “Would you like me to call your friend down then?”
“Yes, please! Her name is Jennifer in Sixth Grade!” I answered. This was going better than I thought it would.
The nurse called Jennifer down and she came running down like a rocket. When she got to me she was out of breathe. It took her awhile to talk after taking a gigantic sip of water.
“Are you okay? I heard about-“I cut her off.
    “Later!” I hiss silently.
”Okay… Mrs. Larne I will call my mom!” Jennifer yelled.
Jennifer swiped out her cell phone, “Hello? Mom? Hi! Yeah this is me Jennifer… yeah well Tina is sick… she is ok but her parents are out…is it ok if she stays at our house?...Yeah…great!...she does have servants but she hates being alone!... ok! Bye!” She hung up with a huge smile on her face.
“Mom said okay!!!’’ Jennifer exclaimed. I nodded because Mrs. Larne was staring at us awkwardly.
“Oh! I forgot! Mrs. Larne?” Jennifer called.
“Yes?” Mrs. Larne replied. “My mother will be here soon!” Jennifer called. Mrs. Larne nodded she was focused on her computer.
For a quick moment Tina thought she saw a video game but the next moment Mrs. Larne was up and smiling like a fool.
“Well, well! I hope you get well soon, Hun! Bye-bye!”Mrs.Larne called. We waved and ran out the door opened into the warm limonene.
“Hello girls! Hi Tina! Hope you are feeling better!” Mrs. Chen said cheerfully. I really like her because she is like my own mom she is always sweet and is always smiling.
I smiled back and said hoarsely,” I think I will be fine after a few days.”
Once in Jennifer’s mansion a block away from my house. We raced to Jennifer’s antique room. Jennifer’s room was big filled with ancient stuff she got from trips all over the world!
“First tell me what happened when I left.” I demanded.
“Well… Mrs. Frowl shook her head told us to take out a book and read. Then Kaila came running in and in a loud voice she yelled ‘Mrs. Frowl! Mrs. Frowl! Tina just got sick and she doesn’t look so good! I took her to the office!’ And then Mrs. Frowl was like ’Oh my! I think I really did it this time.’ That’s it!’’ Jennifer explained.
“Oh wow…,” I said it had went better than thought!
“Now Tina tell me what’s going on?!” Jennifer demanded.
“Well…Kaila had a plan. I pretended like I was sick and then I could leave. I told Mrs. Larne that my parents were out of town which is true. And yeah.” I replied.
Jennifer gave me a funny face. “What?” I asked.
“Nothing…it’s just that you guys didn’t have to go through that Mrs. Frowl was already thinking of letting you off the hook.” Jennifer answered.
    I just shrugged,” Who cares.”
Then Jennifer’s mom came in then. “Hello girls! Sorry to intrude but I was thinking since it is already a sleepover why not invite Kaila and Joyce over? Is that alright?”
I was overjoyed! “Yeah!!!” we screamed in unison. And the rest of the day we spent planning for the night.
When Joyce and Kaila came over they were filled with smiles. They both opened their mouth then as it seemed decided to let Joyce talk first so… here it comes I know it, must be very good news.
“Mrs. Frowl felt really sick as she said so she left school and the substitute let us play the whole day since Mrs. Frowl left no schedule.” Joyce said.
“You forgot! We also have no school tomorrow that’s what the principle said he said ‘I hope you children have learned much but I am afraid that tomorrow school will be closed due to the snow storm.’ ‘’ Kaila exclaimed.
“Cool!” I yelled. Jennifer stayed quiet. That’s weird why isn’t she happy?
“Jenny? You there? What’s with the gloomy face?” I asked her.
“Huh! Oh nothing…” Jennifer said with a distant voice. Then my day dream came back. This was queer because most of my daydreams I just forget but this one… it just seemed so real.
“Tina? Earth to Tina!! You paying attention?” Joyce said in my face.
“Huh? Huh? Where am I?”I asked. I was now outside and this didn’t look at all like Jennifer’s house.
Kaila laughed,’’ Day dreaming again Tina? Here this might help we are at school and on the playground.”
I stuck my tongue at her,” Hey… where’s Jenny?”
I didn’t notice before but now I noticed Jennifer was missing. “Oh… Jenny remember she has a swim meet, Junior Olympic.” Joyce answered.
“Oh yeah!” I exclaimed slapping my head how could I forget! After school Jennifer’s mom will be here to pick us up to watch Jennifer.
“So everything was a day dream.” I said out loud.
“Tina? What are you talking about? What was a day dream?” Joyce asked.
“I was talking out loud. Huh?” I asked Kaila.
She nodded, “What did we do in class?” I asked.
“Oh just some algebra and reading.” Joyce answered.
Then the cute little first graders came out.
One little girl named Jillian came up and said, “Tina? Will give Jennifer my luck? And the others? Pretty please with a cherry on top?”
I laughed, “Of course Jillian!” Jillian blushes and runs off telling everyone that I was going to wish Jennifer luck. Then suddenly someone or something hit me full in the stomach. Note to self not very good, because it causes you to throw up a lot I tell you.
    heart Chapter Two
Quote: One who seems, like they know the answer may not know the true answer for they do not seek for it with their heart.

“Ugh!” I and the person who slammed into me said in unison.
I’m on the floor now with everyone around me saying,”Ohmigod! Are you guys ok?!” I try to pull myself up but something heavy is on top of me.
I look down and there he was Justin the most popular boy in class!!!
He got up to his feet looked down at me and said, “I’m so sorry about that! I was chasing Ashton and yeah I didn’t see you… Here let me help you up.” He offers me his hand I grab it and heave myself up.
I still hadn’t said anything so now I do,” Um… it’s ok… Um… my name is Tina… so yeah and these are my friends are Kaila, Joyce, and Jennifer… “
“Cool!” Justin said giving his dazzling smile. OMG! Doesn’t he have the cutest smile?
Too bad I’m not interested in him because he cares way too much on his hair. Ugh! Who cares!!! I saw him gelling his hair for like 3 hours!! It’s a crazy world.
Then a crowd started to form and I just simply slipped away.
“How did I do?” I asked Kaila and Joyce.
“Well you did fine until the ending.” Kaila giggled. I hit my forehead.
“What did I do now? I’m such a fool!” I cried.
“Well it’s not bad if you consider that everyone saw you’re under ware.” Joyce giggled.
“WHAT?! You mean I slipped and my butt came to view?!” I shouted. I noticed people turn to stare but it didn’t really matter. They nodded. I sighed. This is going to be a tough day…
“Look on the Brightside! Justin noticed you!” Kaila squeaked. I shook my head.
“Does it matter?!” I almost shouted.
“You know Tina?! I’m getting real sick… I mean sick! Of you attitude! I’m serious!!!”
    “So! I don’t care! I don’t even want you as a friend!”
“You guys! Stop fighting! Seriously! Don’t let this ruin our so long friendship!” Joyce called trying to stop are tension.
“It’s your choice Joyce either you choose one of us or also be separated.” I growled hostile.
“Tina! I don’t wanna pick! Why can’t be all just get over this no-reason-fight?!”
“Tina you can’t do it this way. It’s just you and me, don’t let Jenny or Joyce in this.” I nodded. Suddenly I felt so… dizzy… can’t think… my mind is shutting off… feel myself hit onto the hard and cold ground… everything is still.
The last thing I remembered was Kaila and Joyce calling far away saying,” Tina?! Tina?! HELP!!!”
“Where am I?!” I called out. I saw three figures a little farther away they looked like Jenny, Kaila, and Joyce.
“Hey! Jenny! Kaila! Joyce! Over here! Do you guys know where we are?” I asked them as I ran up. WHAT?! How can my eyes fool me so much? I was so sure I saw something there at least! But once I reached the spot it was all gone… how can that be?
I look around me… it was the… beach from my dreams… why does it keep coming back?! It was starting to creep me out ‘cause I mean most of the time my daydreams I forget in less than a day.
”Ugh! What’s with me?! Why can’t I stop thinking of this beach?!” I shouted aloud. I head my echo… I knew I was all alone. Well I better start on getting food and making a shelter. Suddenly I heard a rustle.
“Who’s there?!” I shout out looking around. I swear I did hear something move. Then I heard a voice a tiny whisper.
“Don’t hurt me miss! Please! Can you help me? My Mum is going to worry about me not being at home at supper!” the tiny voice said.
“Come out! I won’t hurt you!” I replied. A small little girl came out. I give a warm smile but the girl backed away.
“What a queer lass you are! How queer style you dress like don’t you dress like a lady? Not like a man!” the little girl scolded. I noticed she was wearing a pink old fashioned dress.
“When were you born?” I asked the little girl. She sniffed.
“I was born on March 21, 1789! So when were you born?! And do stop that staring! It’s becoming rather uncomfortable!” She scolded again. I rolled me eyes. Do I have to answer this girl? Really! This must be a trick duh! Like how can she born in 1789?! It’s preposterous!
“Well… I bet you are lying ‘cause I’m from the 2010s! So how can you be from the 1789! It’s crazy! Come out Kaila, Jenny, and Joyce! HAHA the jokes over!” I shouted I was becoming real annoyed because this was stupid I tell you! Stupid!
I just wished that Joyce, Kaila, and Jenny would just come out!
“Ma’am? What are you talking about? I’m pretty sure it’s still 1789! For I just got here!” The little girl exclaimed she also looked annoyed. Suddenly, I felt queasy. I believed I fainted because when I woke up I was in a dark room. Suddenly, the lights flashed on and I was blinded for a moment. What was going on? Where am I? Questions like that roamed though my head.
    “Tina?” I heard a voice it sounded so familiar, yet I didn’t know it… I heard a man’s voice.
“Ma’am your daughter has taken a big impact on her head so I think she has amnesia. She will not remember anything from her childhood. Huh? Wait who am I? This is so confusing! What’s happening to me?!
A pale lady came in, she was skinny, beautiful features, and she wore the latest style… I believe…
She was clutching a blue handbag and was looking at me with these big eyes.
“Tina?” she said again. I was confused, is she addressing to me?
“Who are you? Answer me!” I demanded. I jumped out ready to grab the lady and shake her, but firm hands held me back.
“Stop! You are Tina! You are no animal! And this is your mother, okay Tina? You have earlier been hit on the head. Do you remember?” a man in white asked me.
“No, all I remember was…was… where are Kaila, Jenny, and Joyce?!” I suddenly bursted out. Memories filled my head, I was confident I knew who I was, but I don’t understand how I got hit in the head.
“Oh thank goodness! I thought I lost you there Tina!” Mom scolded me, but tears were in her eyes. She wrapped her arms around me and pulled me into a bear hug, which she hasn’t done since I was in Kindergarten.
    heart Chapter Three
Quote: Confusion surrounds me, but I know I must hold on tight, for it is my last chance.

“Um… Mom? A little too tight! Remember I’m not a baby anymore.” I gasped. My mother dropped me down onto the cart.
“Do you remember what had happened now, Tina?” she asked me, but I shook my head for I don’t remember getting hit in the head. Then a flashback started, I remembered the strangely dressed little girl who said she was from the… 1789? It was so confusing and I did not want to think about it, nor did I say a single word about it.
Later on my mom dropped me off at home while she had to go to work.
“Good day mistress! Would you like some cookies? I hope you, poor self feel much better!” my maid with her French accent greeted me cheerfully. I smiled and nodded and she scurried away and I sneaked into my room. Everything was the same *sigh* I got out my headphones and turned up the music.
It was Love Story by Taylor Swift. Hmm… how did that get in? I don’t remember even having this CD! Weird… I think it might have a connection to that girl I met on the island… so I listened. There were no clues, but the only silly thought that the girl like Juliet, was in love with an enemy’s son. But how could that be? I mean that girl was way too young and I don’t think she was a princess.
There was a knock. I thought it was my maid, so I let her or him in. But instead there was only a letter in sight. I looked down both halls, empty.
“NOMMY?! ARE YOU THERE?!” I shouted at the top of my lungs. I heard my cheerful maid’s reply from the kitchen. I hurried down.
“Nommy? Have you heard anyone come in?” I asked her.
She looks at me curiously then answers,”Why no, mistress! Not a peek! Why is something wrong, dearie? Oi! For if there is don’t worry Old’ Nommy is here!” the silly maid boasted. I nodded and took off back into my room, where the mysterious message laid.
I wondered what it contained… and I gently opened the seal. What a strange seal! It was waxy and had an eagle on it… strange, but that wouldn’t stop me! I read it and gasped.

Dear Samantha (This is your true name Tina),
My dear girl, I am sorry for letting them do this to you! Please forgive me my dear damsel. I am you mother, Queen Sophia. Now you may wonder why I would dump my only baby when I was a Queen. I’ll explain:

1789- The so call scientist from our time had found a way to make a portal to the future. They wanted to test it with a human. Yes, a human, and my husband so carelessly volunteered you hoping you, my dear, would make history. I couldn’t disagree or I would be banished. So I agreed.
1788- We still wait for your arrival. A year has passed and the problem was that the scientist didn’t know how to get you back. I wept, but your father saw none of this.
“She was only a mere girl,” he said with no care for you, but I did and now I want my baby back! As earlier this day you were on an island with another girl. This girl I had sent to bring you back, but I don’t think she understood my instructions. The island is the portal back to our world. I hope to see you soon my darling!
    With Precious Love,
    Queen Sophia

Okay! Wow a lot to take in… how could she be my real mother when, my mom remembered the day I was born in HER womb? And time traveling in the 1789? Impossible! I mean the 2010’s don’t even have time traveling machines!!! And if this were true it would be marked history!
Suddenly, something slipped out of the package that contained a picture. I picked it up there was a beautiful lady with great features. And in her arms was a small girl baby.
I concentrated on the baby and yes, the baby did have the same features as my baby pictures, but I had proof. I climbed up onto my desk to be level with my albums of all my photos. I go all the way down to the one labeled, “BABY PHOTOS OF TINA”
I take it out and open it slowly, I take out the first picture that I saw of baby me. I slowly compared it with the picture in the letter. The babies… they are the same! How can that be?! No way! I know the best thing to do was ask my mother she’ll know.
I picked up the phone and began dialing.
    “Hello?” Kaila’s voice greets.
“It’s me. And I need you to look up something.” I reply.
    “Anytime bud! Just tell me!”
“Well… I got this letter and… yeah can you look up Queen Sophia from the 1789?”
“Um… you got a letter from the 1789?! LOL c’mon Tina grow up!”
    “I’m serious!!!”
“Oh fine! But I’m not believing.”
    “Whatever! Just research!”
“Why don’t you use your own computer?”
Oh that just hit me, ugh how stupid I was. Of course I have my own computer! So why bother bothering my friends?
“Bye!” I said hastily and hung up. I jumped onto my chair but missed.
“AI!!” I yelled as I tumbled down onto the floor. OW! I think I scraped my knees and elbows I check.
Yup! I was bleeding all over. Ugh… have to go downstairs now! And tell Nommy. Sigh.
I take one glance at the mysterious picture and flew down the stairs. I was thinking about the strange letter the rest of the day.
    I made me wonder:
Do I look like my parents?
Am I really related to this lady?
These kinds of questions flooded my mind. But my mother had always said I had her face shape, I had dad’s legs, her eyes, dad’s personality… it’s so weird so how can I be related to this lady? Or queen as she says. Tsk. Like if! It was likely a mistake and a drunk… I mean like I said earlier! NO WAY!!!
The phone rang interrupting my thoughts. I stood there for awhile and I believe Nommy picked it up.
“Eh? You want the mistress? Eh?..... Ok darling hold a second.” She said in her French accent, “Tina!!! Telephone!” I rushed towards her and snatched the phone way from her, Nommy just shook her head. I guess by my manner, but I was so eager for I believe this made be the so call “queen”. It wasn’t just Jenny.
    “Hello?” I asked.
    “Tina!!” Jenny said sobbing.
    “What’s wrong now?”
    “Melody! S-she r-ran a-away!!! I don’t k-know w-why! I t-thought she loved it h-here!”
“Oh! Um… well I bet she’s bound to come back Jenny! Don’t worry!”
    “Y-you sure?”
“Totally! I guess she just wanted to be in the wilds.”
“Ok…well bye then… I have to study… see ya tomorrow at school!” I hung up before Jenny said another word. Ugh! I so believed it was this mysterious lady! WHY?! Why did Jenny have to call?! I mean it’s not that I hate her it’s just I was so close on a case! I shouldn’t blame her she didn’t know it was a bad timing.
“The mistress okay? She want food?” Nommy said in her French accent.
“Naw. I don’t feel like eating right now. I’m going to bed. Good night.” I said and began lumbering up the stairs, but Nommy stopped me. She put her hand on my forehead.
    “I don’t have a fever!” I snapped.
“Oh! I didn’t mean to madden mistress!” Nommy said cringing to the side. I guess I snapped a little too much.
“No, it’s ok Nommy I’m just really tired.” I explained. She nodded and backed off. Now, I feel like a monster. Ugh. I dumped myself onto my bed and put the letter in front of my face.
I know this was child-like but I was desperate.
    “Dear Ma’am,
I don’t know what you are talking about. I mean of course since you state that you did make a time-machine in 1789… then how come it isn’t in history? And my own mother remembers me being born in her womb! And how can you contact me if you are suppose to be dead?!” I shouted at the letter.
I heard a laugh, “My silly damsel! Well the reason why this is not in history is because we made sure the scientists were silent about this matter. I can contact you by the time-machine. And nothing is impossible. And I believe you should question your mother more about your birth dear.” A fair voice said behind me. I grew cold.
“Who are you?” I asked without turning around for I was scared.
“Why your mother of course!” the woman said delightfully.
I whirled around and faced her, “How can you be my mother?! HUH?! And also this… is stupid!!! And how can you act (if you were my mother) like nothing is wrong?! Why did you let me then go through the time-machine?!” I shouted and the stunning woman standing there all in white. She was wearing a simple tunic, but looked very stylish.
She looked hurt, “Of course I worried about you! I’m just so happy to see you!” That was a good explanation. I just wished she’d disappear! She sure is giving me the creeps!
“Come with me my darling! Come back home!” she tried to persuade. She grabbed my arm, chills came up my spine. Her hand was smooth and cold, she smiled. I pushed her away and ran off.
“AH!” I shouted I woke up. Oh yea! I was still in the hospital. My mom was still chatting with the doctor. What a nightmare!
“Tina!” I heard a chorus shout. I turned there were Jenny, Kaila, and Joyce! I jumped off to great them.
“I have so much to tell you!” I shrieked and I did. I told them all about my dreams how they seemed so real.
“Ha! Tina your mind is always wandering! But that sure sounds creepy!” Jenny said smiling. I laughed; I guess my imagination was just going too far. But I didn’t know that the dreams had a purpose. I didn’t know I, myself had some sort of power that villains were trying to get from me. I was too young.
“C’mon gals! Let’s get some ice cream! I hope you feel good enough, honey!” my mom exclaimed clicking her car keys. We laughed and headed towards Basket Robins the best ice cream shop ever! Well… to me that is!
“Wow, Tina it’s weird. I just noticed that all your dreams seem to all do with a time-machine now… it’s different.” Kaila murmured to me. But I just ignored that for I didn’t want to think about those dreams again!
“You guys ready for the sleep-over bash at my place?” Joyce asked.
“YEAH!” we screamed. Suddenly a hand clapped over my mouth! I tried to scream but the hand thick as a wall muffled all my noises. I fell unconscious. When I woke up I found myself in a nice mansion. Uh-oh! I hope this isn’t another time-machine dream!
“Ah! I see you have woken up my dear!” it was the lady again. How?
“We bought you back to our century!” she exclaimed.
“Why don’t you just leave me were I belong and stop bugging me! I HATE IT HERE! TAKE ME BACK!” I shouted yelling flaring my arms and legs out.
“But don’t you like this place dear?” she asked she stared into my eyes and I stared back. I tried to look away but I couldn’t. It was as if she was commanding me my head slowly looked around me against my will. The room was painted Aquamarine and it was like a faerie tale.
    heart Chapter Four
Quote: It was persuading but I must fight back.

“Now don’t you like it?” Queen Sophia chided. I didn’t answer.
“Maybe I should leave you to look around, my child.” She left thank goodness! I climbed off the bed. And looked at it. The bed was like a cloud it had adorable stuff animals I looked around this room practically had everything I had wished for! I ran and looked out the window.
What a beautiful sight! I saw people do their daily needs as they walked around the street. It was like if this place was for faeries it was perfect!
“It’s a trick Tina! Don’t fall for it!” I told myself. I knew I had to get out of here. I zoomed out of the room. I went through doors and doors. They were also filled with stuff I had always wanted. I was tempted to stay here but I reminded myself it was a trap.
“Where are you going servant?!” a man’s voice growled behind me. I gulped and turned around. There was a man in fine clothing; I believe he was the king. But as I turned to face him, when he saw my face he grew gentle.
“Can it be you? Can it be, Tina, my daughter? Hush! This is not a good place to talk! Follow me!” he commanded and since I was afraid I did. He was different. I could not believe this was the man the queen said who didn’t care for me.
We reached a garden. He sat down on a marble bench and patted the spot beside him beckoning me to come. It was so awkward but I sat there.
“This is the only place where she, the queen can’t interrupt us. Ok… was this guys afraid of her?
“Um… can you tell me what is going on?” I asked him.
“Long ago, the scientist built a time-machine I wanted it destroyed but my queen over-powered me and said to test with you. I disagreed and she took my power away. They took you, but you never came back… I wept and destroyed the machine with my own hands hoping you would come back, but you didn’t. The queen is not your birth mother, and it was wrong of me to even choose to marry her. She befriended me making me think she would replace my sorrow of your mother’s death with happiness.” He explained. I don’t know why, but I trusted this guys way more than that lady. I knew he was telling the truth.
“That Queen Sophia wrote to me the total opposite… how come?” I asked.
“Well, here is the problem, daughter, you have a special power that Sophia wants to contain, it’s a rare one that is why. She is trying to trick you, but you my rabbit will be wise and not fall into her lair like me.” He answered. I nodded.
“Do you know how I can get back?” I asked him.
He looked at me, “Yes, follow me now then.” He disappeared in the trees and I followed him into the woods. There was a machine of some sort I have never seen! The King was meddling with some buttons.
“Station yourself in front of the machine and when I yell jump you jump. Okay?” he asked and I nodded ready for the jump. I bent my knees. Suddenly colors zoomed in front of me I heard him yell, “JUMP!” and I did so.
It was such a strange sensation! I flew through. I felt the colors zoom past me and I was squeezed, suddenly I found myself dumped onto my bed.
I heard someone weeping, “It has been years, since Tina’s absents! We’ll never find her!” It was my mother. I ran down the stairs.
“Mom! Dad!” I shouted. I surprised them so much that they fell onto the couch!
“Can it be you?” Dad asked. He was looking at me like I was an alien.
“Where have you been?!” my mother try to scold but she was crying and laughing at the same time.
“How many years has it been?” I asked them. I noticed their hair was grayer and they looked older.
“You have been missing for 2 years! We were just about to give up and have a funeral!” My mother exclaimed. Wow… how could I have been gone so long? It was impossible!
“We searched all over the world for you! Quit our jobs! Gone broke for looking for you!” my mother continued. But I knew she cared I was home and safe. I knew both loved it that they had found me even what has happened. I smiled, it wasn’t like that witch.
    I hugged them tightly.
“Thanks,” was all I could manage to say as tears flowed out. Suddenly I heard a shrivel laughter, the laughter of the Queen.
“Did you hear that?” I asked my parents.
“Hear what?” my mother asked me, “Maybe we should take you to the doctors?” I shook my head; I knew I was in perfect condition.
“I think a good night sleep will help.” My father persuaded. The crackle again, I cringe, but my parents don’t notice. Good, I don’t want them worrying any more. I climbed onto my bed, but I noticed a letter, I quickly swiped it under my shirt so my parents wouldn’t see. When they finally left my room I got on my computer. I was greeted with you have 150 messages.

“O tina! Miss u soo much! Wish u could have been at school! It’s boring without u! –Jennifer”

“TINA!!! WHERE R U????? WAAHHHH!!! –Joyce”

    “I don’t think u know me, but… I think u should… I think this is crazy 2 be talking 2 a dead person… but o well! Tell my gram I care 4 her when u get into heaven! –Ashley”

“ur parents r going crazy looking all over! Miss u come back gal! –Kaila”

These were some of the emails I got. They all thought I was…dead?! Wow wouldn’t people think it would be in-human of me to survive so long? For humans’ law say that a person can only live for three days without food. And obliviously it was surely impossible for me to survive.
Me a city girl with no experience with outdoors. My friends know I wouldn’t be able to survive. It was easy to tell I could not live outdoors, for although I was a joker and troublemaker my features did not seem like it. I was frail and shiny with a pale face and blond hair. I had a smile kind of like Mona Lisa. Well… not really ‘cause nobody thinks it’s attracting.
Yet right now I actually look plumper… for some strange reason. My window blew open. At first I thought it was the queen.
“It’s just the wind Tina. Nothing to fear.” I told myself, but I knew there was much to fear. I walked over to close the window. On the sill though I noticed a parcel. It was light in my hands and it was hard.
I tore though the wrap. I gasped. It was a jewelry box! There was a key. It had something inscribed onto it.
“Courage is with you,” I read out loud.
“Tina? Is that you?” I heard my mom say as her footsteps neared. Oh-no! I hid the box and key under my bed. The knob turned and I jumped up just in time as my mom entered the room.
“My daughter! Still up?” she asked me. I had to tell her… I had to ask her really if she knew about this so called Queen.
    “Mom?” I asked her.
    “Yes, darling?” she asked me.
“Do you know anything about a Queen named Queen Sophia? And am I really your daughter? Is there such thing as a time machine?” I started blurting out all these questions. My mom looked confused at first then she shook her head in disbelief.
“So she finally got into you. I was hoping that wouldn’t happen.” She mutters.
“What?!” I asked I knew then that this was real about what the Queen wanted.
“She was your step-mother after I divorced with the king. Yes, your dad right now isn’t your real dad.” She explained. Whoa Whoa! What?! That can’t be!!
“Are you sure mom? I mean like 1789?! I think it’s silly! I shouldn’t have asked!” I yelled. I couldn’t help it! I was so hoping that it was all a dream. Wait! Maybe this is a dream! Yeah!
“Tina… I’m serious. This is no dream I can tell your face. Go ahead and pinch yourself! You’ll feel it.” My mom said. I did.
“Ow!!!” I shouted. Because I pinched a little too hard, being too sure of myself.
Mom laughed, “Like I said!” I shook my head in disgust. I can’t believe it! I slipped into my bed. Too many surprises for one night.
“Good night,” Mom whispered as she lightly kissed my forehead and left. I twisted and turned no way could I sleep.
“Go to sleep!” I tried to command myself. But the night away did me only twist and turn.
    heart Chapter Five
Quote: Be aware that not all dreams are real or fake.

I woke up to the glazing sun, “Wow! What a strange dream I had! I mean it seemed so real!” I thought. I smiled it was all a dream. I jumped out of bed and went downstairs.
“Morning honey! Good night sleep?” Mom greeted.
“Okay… but I had this really weird dream.” I informed. Her face hardened.
“Is it about that Queen thing? I’m worried Tina, you’ve been dreaming like this the whole year!” Mom exclaimed. I let out a whoosh of relief, I was worried that she was about to say it was true.
    Ring! Ring! Ding! Dong!
Went our doorbell. I raced to the door. There stood Jennifer, Kaila, and Joyce!
    “Hey guys!” I greeted happily.
“What’s with the happiness? Never seen you that happy.” Jennifer asked but I saw her smiling.
“Oh. I just felt like we haven’t seen each other for awhile!” I said brightly. They laughed and I didn’t get it… I thought that the last time I saw them was like 3 years ago? Wait that’s just a dream!
    “You mean yesterday?” Kaila asked.
“Huh? Oh yeah!! HAHAHA!” I said unsure. What did they mean? Yesterday? I didn’t want them to know… not now.
“So did you ask your mom about coming to Disney World with us?” Joyce asked bright fully.
“Wait one second! I totally forgot!!! So sorry! Come in if you want to help me!” I exclaimed panicking. They nodded and came inside.
    “Mom!” I called
    “Yes?” came the answer.
“I forgot to tell you that Joyce invited me to go to Disney World with them! Is that okay?” I hollered.
“Sure honey! But you didn’t pack yet! Oh! And if you are going I think you should take your hat, sunglasses, sun tan lotion, and the camera! Wait! And extra underwear!” she shouted. I blushed and my friends giggled.
“Okay!” I replied and we rushed off.
“Oh! Oh! I think you should pack your undies while I pack some cute outfits!” Jennifer exclaimed, they bursted out into laughter. I grabbed a fistful of stinky, old clothes and threw it at the laughing group, but that just caused more laughter.
When we had finally calmed down we hurried began packing for Joyce informed us that we only had 2 hours to finish up.
“UGH! Tina c’mon?! A Tie-dye T-shirt?! Yuck! We totally have to take you shopping!” Kaila exclaimed. I laughed, “No way are you guys dressing me! ‘Cause then I won’t look like myself!” We laughed once again, but kept on packing. 10 minutes later we were all ready.
“Bye Mom!” I called as I pecked her cheek then my little Maltese came up. “Aww! Hello there Cutie! I got to go now baby! Give Mommy a kiss!” I cooed. Cutie came and licked my face. Suddenly, Nommy came in. Wow! It seemed so long since I seen my maid.
“Ah! Yes, yes! Just be careful! Dark forces can find you!” she said mystically. A chill went up my back.
“What do you mean?” I asked quietly. Nommy just waved her arm.
“Nah! Nothing to scare girly.” She replied and walked away.
“That was weird… plus creepy!” Joyce announced breaking the silence. I nodded. “Well, we better get going then.” I said. We left quickly.
“What’s with your maid?” Kaila asked when we got into the limo.
I shook my head, “I don’t know… she was never like this before.” I confronted.
“Which way to ladies?” the car driver asked; she had such a familiar voice… I just can’t put my finger onto it. Suddenly, the voice came through… Queen Sophia! No!
“Get out of here!” I hissed to my friends. They tugged at the door no process.
“Aww! Girls don’t leave now! Why what’s wrong?” the witch asked.
“You!” I barked. The cold laughter.
“Yes, I thought you would never figure it out.” She snarled out.
“Well, I did! And you can’t hurt my friends!” I shouted with a grimace. Something foul smelled thickly.
“Tina!” I heard Jennifer shout. I turned they had been able to managed to slam the door open.
They jumped out and I tried to follow after them, but a cold hand gripped my arm.
“You won’t be leaving so soon, Tina,” the witch sneered.
“Let go of me!” I cried.
“Not until you give what is mine!” the witch screeched.
“I don’t know what you want!” I yelled and pulled my hand back with such force I tumbled out of the car, onto the curve, and hit my head. Then everything went black. After what seemed like 10 billions of years. My eyes fluttered open. My cell phone was ringing.
    “Hello?” I answered.
“Tina! Where are you?!” came Joyce’s voice.
“Oh! Hehehe! I’m just laying around!” I giggled.
“DO YOU KNOW WHERE WE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE AT?! THE PLANE STATION! WE MISSED OUR FLIGHT!!!” came Jennifer’s screaming voice.
“Oh!” I exclaimed, I suddenly remembered it all…the witch and how she almost got me!
“OH?! Dude you have 5minutes to hurry up!” Kaila commanded, “Or we’ll leave without you!”
“Okay,” I said. I began to run. That was weird it was as if they didn’t even remembered the witch and all the stuff… what’s going on? Panting I arrived at the airport.
“Finally!” I puffed. So tired… NO! Don’t take a nap now! Look for your friends! I grabbed my cell phone and dialed Joyce’s number.
“Hello?” came a voice I recognized but didn’t know who…
    “Um… Joyce?”
“No… Queen Sophia! And if you want to see your friends again you have to give me your powers!” and evil laugh ringed out. WHAT?! She’s got Joyce, Kaila, and Jennifer?! Suddenly an idea popped up.
“Queen Sophia? Oh… wrong number! Sorry I’m Joyce’s manicure specialist! I just thought this was the right number! Oh and by the way! I’m MewMew!” I lied. Okay! I don’t know where I got the idea of MewMew, but I think she fell for it!
“Oh! I’m so sorry I was um… co-playing! Yes! Well actually Joyce is still here! Here I’ll put it on speaker!”
“Okay… but who are you?” I questioned.
“Um… I’m Mistress Joyce’s um… make-up person! Yes, indeed!” she hesitated. Easy to tell she was a fake! HAHAHA! I got you now!
“MewMew! So glad to hear from you!”
“Why yes Joyce! Well your mom told me to call you and… hey where are you by the way? Your mom wants me to do your manicure! TODAY!” I faked.
“Um… hold a second, hey! Hey you! Yes, you! Where is this place?” Joyce played. Wow! Joyce was a pretty good actor! Why doesn’t she go perform in a play like Kaila and Jennifer?
“Can’t the manicure wait?!” the hag’s cold voice replied.
“No! My mom is with the lady! And if you don’t tell me they’ll call 91-“ she voice stopped and I heard static and then my home was saying call disconnected.
“No,” I whispered she took them! “Joyce?” I repeated my cell-phone was dead now. And as if another person was taking control of me I yelled, “Time Portal SUMMONED!” Then a black hole appeared and against my will I jumped in.
I landed on the grass of the castle. The castle was the same as last time, except it seemed bigger. I walked up to one of the guards.
“Excuse me sir?” I asked him, he looked down then looked afraid.
“W-what do you want?! The Queen ordered none to pass!”
“Not even the princess?” I asked.
“I’m sorry Your Highness, but-“I stopped him with a cold look. And as if surrendering he motioned for the draw-bridge to be lowered.
“Thank you!” I curtsied and went in. Then I noticed that my clothes felt heavier and more dragging. I looked down at my clothes. I had suddenly changed! I was wearing a golden gown and I reached into a pocket to get out my mini mirror. I WAS EVEN WEARING MAKE-UP! I was shocked for a bit until one of the guards yelled, “You! Orders from the Queen that you must stay inside!” I walked up to him.
He stopped talking then apologized, “Oh! It’s ye, the Princess! Forgive me foolish words! I ‘ad only meant as it funny.” I nodded and walked past him. No time to lose.
I looked at the flights of stairs and wished there were an elevator and as if commanded suddenly a modern elevator appeared! I was suddenly getting the hang of my summoning powers. I went in and decided to check the 100th floor first. Once out I looked around it was silent then I heard something, a rat. I got back in and tried the 99th floor. Then I heard an ear-piercing scream. It sounded like Jennifer.
I ran down the hall trying not to make a sound. One of the doors was slightly open and I peeked in. Inside were three guards and Joyce, Kaila, and Jennifer all tied together.
I walked in casually. “Good day guards!” I greeted them.
NOW YOU MUST FINISH IT WITH YOUR IMAGINATION! I WILL POST THE REST ONE DAY!!!
