• I will never forget the first time I saw her. Her beautiful long black hair, the blank look in her eyes, almost as if she was already dead. She was like nothing or anyone I had ever seen before, something about her pulled me away from the madness that had surrounded me in this god forsaken city. Of course seeing a beautiful siren such as herself would cost any man something of value and I was more then glad to do so, I deserved it for letting down my guard. I was so caught up in the horror I has just seen. A beautiful blind girl knelled down on the ground, a blood everywhere, on her cloths and a knife in her hand. There was a dead body in front of her as well, a man I think..his eyes were missing. Before I had time to think she quickly got up and turned around as she hurled her knife at me. I was barely able to keep the knife from piercing into my eye completely. I gripped her wrist with my hand, the pain..I couldn't tell if there was any. All I remember is looking at her through my working eye and staring into her beauty, I felt as if, I weren't alone in this world after all. She looked at me in horror, but the expression slowly faded as I did nothing. It was almost as if she could tell the way that I felt because she dropped her knife and then hugged me tightly and started crying. I had never dealt with emotions like these from another living thing..and actually cared. I wrapped one of my arms around her and put the other on her head as I held her close to me. It was as if we had known each other all of our lives, known each others pains and sorrows, we had been by each others side's and never looked at each other.
