• Chapter 2
When my last class of the day began, my heart sank. I didn't see Kiaret in the classroom, just like every other period after first hour. I only have one class with Kiaret! How will I get through the day? After I had the thought, I realized how weird this was. I'd never felt so drawn to a girl before. I've always had relationships with girls, but not like this. It felt different. I didn't think there was a new way of liking someone for me, but I just discovered it.

I became obsessed with the girl and I hadn't even been with her for more than an hour. Actually, all we did was pass notes back and forth, so we didn't really even talk with eachother except introducing ourselves. But I still missed her. She was all I could think about all day.

The bell finally rang and I smiled. One step closer to seeing her again! I just have to go to practice, drive home, drop off my stuff, and head for Kiaret's.

"Seb, hurry up!" yelled Coach Macho.

"Hey, Coach!" I said, jogging to my position. Even though I was just a Junior, I was quarterback. It was probably because I had been playing football ever since I could walk and pick up a football. Before that, I watched the games on TV with my dad.

Today though, I wasn't focused. At all. I kept thinking about Kiaret and her violet eyes. I wondered where she came from. She said she couldn't tell me...which was weird. Insanely weird. Oh well. I'd just have to get it out of her sometime.

Practice went okay. My mind wasn't there, but I still played pretty well. That's all my team cared about. I got home fast and ran to room to throw my stuff on the floor so I could leave again. But when I got to my room, I stopped in the doorway. Kiaret was sitting on the edge of my bed. Before I could even think, "Why is Kiaret in my bedroom?" she hopped off the bed and skipped over to me. She put her hands on my chest and I felt her breath on my face.

Then Kiaret was kissing me. I had no idea what brought this on. I didn't even know the girl yet. I mean, she didn't even feel compelled to tell me where she used to live. But still, she was all over me like she didn't care we hadn't even had a legit conversation yet. After I got over the shock, I put my arms around her waist and kissed her back. I never before kissed anyone with more intensity than that. After a few hour-long seconds, her shoulders slumped and she stepped away. She took a deep breath and let it out.

"Oh gosh. I'm so sorry," she apologized. "I guess I just got tired of waiting." She looked at me with those gorgeous eyes and I got lost in them for a very non-specific amount of time.
