• After Betty left, Jay apologized to me. We then got into the lunch line, with me just staring at the floor, daydreaming about music, in my own little world. So when the browned haired boy named Skyler walked over to say hey, he caused me to jump a little in surprise.

"Um…sorry if I scared you," He said sheepishly, running his hand through his hair. He gave me a pondering look, as if he was trying to figure out a difficult math equation.

"Oh I’m sorry, I was just lost in thought," I replied with an embarrassed smile. Wow he's kind of cute, I thought to myself. His long hair was nice and silky, and swept to the side.

"So Jayden, where’re you from?" He asked.

"I'm from Auburn, Washington." I answered back.

"You mean where the president lives?" he asked questioningly, as he cocked his head to the side. How cute!!

"Haha, nope! Right under Canada, and above California," I said in an amused voice.

"Oh, I know what you’re talking about," he said with a warm smile, as we moved up the lunch line. "So, why did you move to England?" He asked with interest, moving his eyes over to me, eyes colored a unique shade of green, like a new leaf.

"My parents split up, and living in England was one of my mother's dreams, so here we are," I explained to him.

"Hey Jayden!” Conner yelled, spotting me further ahead in the line.

"Hi Conner!" I yelled back, grinning in return.

"So Jayden, what class do you have next?" Skyler asked. I took my schedule out of my pocket, and had a look at my 4th period class.

“Um…I have PE," I responded. Crap, I'm a girl and they don't know it yet, and I have PE! What should I do?! I guess I could borrow Kevin's boxers, maybe that would work? As we continued to advance in line, due to my lack of attention, I accidentally ran into a girl. "Oh excuse me, I'm sorry!" I apologized, embarrassed because of what just happened. She on the other hand, just looked at me and blushed.

"It’s okay," she murmured. I barely heard her, and just stared as she moved ahead.

"Dude, do you know who that is?" Skyler whispered to me. I shook my head in a no, somewhat confused.

"Who is she?" I whispered back to him.

"Only the most popular girl in school. Her name is Rachel." He said.
"Oh? She seemed very shy towards me."

"Could be it's because she likes you, or she's jealous because you’re taking away her precious Jay," He mused. Does that mean that she's Jay's girlfriend?

    "You mean they're going out?"

"No Jay doesn't like her, he says she's a total -”

"A show off girl, who always gets what she wants, and is extremely bossy." Jay interrupted. I did notice she had that snotty sort of look about her, but what he said seemed a little too harsh. I continued to think about it as we finally got out of the lunch line, and went to a table full of boys…this could get a little weird for me. We sat down, and I took a seat next to Jay and Skyler. The table was incredibly crowded, so I was pretty much squished between the two of them. This is seriously awkward. Incredibly, seriously awkward. I just sat there and watched the guys, with the feeling as if I was watching TV.

"Oh by the way guys, this is Jayden. He's new here," Skyler said to the others, as a ways of introduction. A lot of the guys at the table just said hey, or slapped me on my back as a greeting. I just sat there, unsure of myself. Once lunch was over, the bell rang, and P.E was going to start. I had no idea what I was going to do. I don't even have shorts! Maybe I can skip it for today…I hope.
