• Alright, so who didn't think the escape was easy? I was one of the luckiest ones to escape Barton Town alive since it was besieged by a powerful legion of undead forces, not just the animated alone. Besides, there's a nearby train station located in the subway in which I had to take to escape the city. Honestly, this was my only escape method through the hard way since the exits outside were secured by the undead. Yet surprisingly, the Barton soldiers gave me more than enough time to escape, though they didn't notice. Now, with this train running in motion, I feel like I'm the only passenger on board. But what about my allies? Hopefully, they're OK. I've been separated from them during the siege of Barton... and now, my only mission left is to create an army of my own and retake the whole town while driving out the animated forces and the powerful undead legions. And you may call me David, by the way.

[the train suddenly comes to a halt]

Me: Great, now what? [heads to the very front of the train to discover a survivor conducting the train] Baruch? Is that you?

Baruch van Austins: [he is startled and turns around to draw out his sword, but quickly recognizes me] Sheesh, you startled me there. For a sec, I thought you were one of the undead monsters that got in the train.

Me: Well, you're lucky that I went inside just in time.

Baruch van Austins: [chuckles] I don't know how to manage a train, but at least we're the only ones here.

Me: Hopefully, we are. And besides, what do you mean you have no clue how to manage a train? You just stopped it now.

Baruch van Austins: Actually, that wasn't me. The power's been shut off all of a sudden, causing the train to halt.

Me: Strange. Could have been the undead.

Baruch van Austins: Yep. But at least we made it out alive!

Me: We're lucky. Come on, let's go.

Voice: Wait a sec! You forgot about me!

[Baruch and I turn around to find another survivor who secretly went in the train moments before it departed---Soren Whisperwind]

Baruch van Austins: Whoa, Soren! I didn't expect you'd be here also!

Soren Whisperwind: I was at the very back; I didn't quite expect either of you on board while the undead legion attacked Barton. But luckily, at least I'm able to find the two of you.

    Me: Anyone else on board?

Soren Whisperwind: I checked every part of the train.... even under the seats where they usually hide. But I guess there were no other survivors that came along with me. I was probably too late to save as many as I could, but I knew the legions were drawing their forces close, so I had no choice but to seek refuge for a while.

Baruch van Austins: Well, you two were lucky to get on before I had the train to leave. So I guess that means we're the only survivors left.

Me: Yep. But that means we have to locate any standing towns and warn our clan members, warriors, and other brethren.

Soren Whisperwind: It'll take a while, but I know we can create an army for ourselves and retake the town itself. It may take weeks---perhaps even months---to raise a powerful one, and I know that you, David, would make an excellent military leader.

Me: Well, so much for watching Troy and learning a lot in World History class. smile

Baruch van Austins: I love Troy!

Soren Whisperwind: Same here, but we've got to go.

[the three of us locate a stairway to the subway exit]
