• "Kids, I have something to tell you." Announces my mom. "Were opening a family business..and it's gonna be a juice bar." Then mom picked up a brown box with the uniforms. It was a orange short sleeved shirt, either a red skirt, or black pants, a red vest, with a badge with your name on it, and a visor with the capital letters, "Juice It!". I guess thats the name of the juice bar. "Your aunt is on your way so she can drive us." Minutes later, somebody opened the door and it was my dad and my aunt. "The bar is ready. I'll drive." The bar is on Adrian road. It was right beside our neighborhood. We hopped in my aunt's car. She drove down the street and then were there. I see some of my cousins, aunts, uncles, and other family standing beside the shop. As we get out the car, my aunt Jane says, "The place is just as I pictured..mint green floors, orange tables, white chairs, ah..." My aunt Jane is so calm. As we walk in, I noticed my aunt was right..this is just how I pictured it too! I opened the back door, and stood at the counter. "I'll be giving you all keys. Please be responsible with them." Dad gave out keys. "Now, go try on your uniforms. We'll be opening up in a minute." We went to the back room to try our uniforms on. Nicole said, it looks perfect on me. I had to admit, It look the best on her though. Alex liked his uniform and all, but it didn't look good on him. But he still had to wear it. We walked out of the back room, and showed everybody. The rest of the family was already in their uniforms. "Perfect." Said, my mom. "Now, you have to wear these aprons." She handed out aprons to everybody. I tied mine around my waist, and, it totally matched the uniform. Mines had a cute design of oranges all over. They were my favorite. Then she placed the visor on my head. "There." Said my mom. Sweet! I loved my new uniform. I modeled it for everybody and so did Nicole. "Okay, were open now. I'll go set up the sign." My dad said as he set up a sign. I got behind the counter. I was in charge of making juices and smoothies. Then, a bunch of people, started clashing in. The line was so long, it had to turn around the tables! Then, somebody walked in my line. "Hello, welcome to Juice It. How may I help you?" I said. Thats what were always supposed to say when someone is ordering. "Can I have a Strawberry Splasher smoothie?" Then I noticed the Lady had three girls behind her. I could tell they were 9 years old. I was about to make the smoothie, but she continued. "And, I'd like a Blueberry blast, Mango Mangoes, and a Banana Bash." I washed my hands, picked up some blueberry's and rinsed them. I rinsed the strawberry's, Mango's, and Bananas as well. I put them in the blender. I poured the Strawberry in a regular size cup. I did the same thing with the rest. I placed them on the counter. Then the lady handed me a 50. It was only 20 cha chings you know. I gave her back some change. The little girls waved, and they sat at a table in the corner. That was strange..I noticed Nicole giving out Pretzels, Chips, and everything. The shop was going great..so far.
