• I blinked. There were about thirty guards in the hall with us. Hadesia didn't really look worried, just slightly bloodthirsty. And by slightly, I mean very bloodthirsty. Vanrir cast a worried look over to her, his hands curling into loose fists. "Hadie?" He murmured, stepping closer to her. Hadesia snapped out of her little...trance and then smirked, sliding a glance over at the vampire and I. She, violently and without warning, launched herself at a guard, tossing me the gun.

"Point it and pull the trigger!" She yelled, roundhouse kicking a guard with a pointy stiletto in the head. He went down like a sack of potatoes, his head starting to bleed from a deep wound in his forehead. Vanrir leaped forward and grinned at his next victim.

"I think I know how to use a gun, Hadesia!" I screamed back at her, raising the gun and pointing it a guard that was attempting to escape by slinking past the chaos. He whipped around as I took of the safety, staring at me in sheer horror. I grinned at him, mouthing 'BOOM!' before I pulled the trigger and half his head went everywhere.

Hadesia let out a bloodcurdling laugh and then pushed fire straight into a guards eye. The smell of burning tissues and nerves filled the air, and some guards stared as the guy literally screamed his lungs apart from the pain. He went down on his knees and threw up blood and chunks of unidentifiable tissues, probably his lungs. They stared at him, then one another.

Another guard threw himself at Hadesia and manged to slash open her shoulder. Vanrir roared in anger and leaped foward, and some others threw themselfs down ontop of him, ripping at him. I raised the gun and shot the one on Hadesia through the chest and then turned the gun on myself, hoping my death would be better than what I would turn out to be if I stayed with those two.
    ................................................................................

The last thing I saw was Vanrir's face, staring down into mine. The last thing I felt was a sharp pain in my neck.
