• Greed's breath was soft, he was asleep. School started a couple days ago, it was time for one of my midnight runs. I wouldn't take Sakura with me this time. I pulled on some clothes and grabbed my staff. I leaned down and kissed Greed softly, quickly. "I'll be leaving now" I whispered to his sleeping body. I opened the window and Refia, now the size of a cow, was waiting for me below. She wasn't as fat as one, just as long and tall. She helped me down and followed me into the wicked woods. I know, a cheesy name, but it's called the wicked woods for a reason. I spread the rumor that if you enter the woods, you will be cursed. I did it, so my secret could be kept a secret. The moon was out and full, giving me nough ligt to see. I tripped, scrapping my knee, blood welled, but I ignored it. I got back up and continued walking. I climbed up a rocky wall, crossed a stream and got to the place in the woods where Sakura would always run away in fear of the curses, even though I told her the truth. I went to the egde of the cliff and saw it. The great lake shimmering from the light, the light being reflected off the lake to the tree leaves, making everything sparkle and glisten like a thousand diamonds. I sighed and breathed in the fresh air. "Ready Refia?" I asked. "Of course!" she told me mentally. I said the magic words and got on my staff and Refia readied her wings. "Read!" I yelled mentally (You know I'm gunna make this short and say, everything they say is said mentally). "Set!" Refia yelled. "Go!" we yelled together together and we flew off. We twisted, turned, dipped, fell, regained flight. It was a blast we flew for hours! Until I felt the sun rise behind me. "Until next time." I said, leaving. "Until then" Refia said, staying behind. I flew into my room, but my staff caught on the bottom of the window and I fell onto the bed. My face ended up inches away from Greed's. He was awake. "hi" he said plainly. "H-hi" I said. "So, there a reason you fell from the window?" he asked. "Not really" I said. "Liar" he said matter-of-factly. I sat up. Sudenly, I felt a sting coming from my knee. "Nowhere, huh?" he said, pointing to my bloody knee. "Shut up!" I said. He sat up next to me and placed his hand on my knee. It stung like fire. He sighed and licked his hand. "As usual, your blood doesn't dissapoint" he said. He took my leg and licked my knee, the pain went away, and so did my wound. "Thanks" I murmured. "Don't say thanks yet" he said. I looked up at him. "You owe me something now. Tell me where you've been." he said. "No where" I said, turning away. "No where gave you a bloody knee?" he asked retorically. "Fine, I was somewhere" I said. "Where somewhere?" he asked. "Somewhere somewhere" I said. Okay, now he was getting pissed. He sighed and just got out of bed. "Greed?" I asked. No respnse. He went into the batherrom. I picked up my staff and changed into my uniform. When he came out he was in his. "Greed?" He didn't say anything. I got the bed and banged as hard as I could on the back of his head with the bottom part of my staff. He fell to the floor, grasping the back of his head, and trying to keep in sounds of pain. "What the hhell was that for-" he yelled, but shut up the second he saw my face. He was scared. "Don't get on my bad side" I told him. He nodded his head fast. He backed away from me until his back met the wall. "See ya later!" I said and left the room. "Scary" I heard him say. I still didn't know that I was living in the Final days of Prophecy to begin, and end.
