• Heaven: The perfect utopia, or the impeccably clever ruse created by a corrupt government to maintain stability? Would they really go as far as to create a huge, life-changing book in an attempt to cede from the anarchy and chaos that would obviously manifest the planet and all it's naive, gullible inhabitants? It's the perfect lie. The only way to prove it wrong is to end it all, and after that you can't spread the truth. It's impossible to prove wrong.

This question returns constantly to my mind: Is there a god? Is there Jesus, Heaven, Religion? Or is it all a fake lie used as an excuse to move on through life? I need to know. I crave this knowledge, no matter the consequences. Is it wrong that I should go this far, instead of waiting until my time? Well, technically, I suppose this would be my time. If there was a God, there must have been a reason he placed these unique thoughts and ideas into my brain. And if not, then the government is getting rid of another conspiracy theorist. Everybody wins.

So I raise the black, heavy nine millimeter to the side of my skull, the soft part. The defenseless temple. And I pull the trigger, ending my life.

You know what they say: Curiosity killed the cat.
