• As a result of someone stopping us the only thing I could really do at the moment was scream.

I mean really what would you do if something grabbed you and pulled you back slowly?

"SHUT UP! I don't want them to hurt you," Derek was whispering to me.

"Sorry, I’m just really scared," I whispered back.

    We didn't look back.

We didn't want to make the thing angry.

It wasn't the men who were pulling us back into the house, no, it was force stronger than any, magic?.

The men would have held us a different way, I would know.

I didn’t know what to do, so I screamed.

    The force suddenly…stopped?

    What was happening?

It didn’t matter right now, we had to go…

Derek and I got up, as fast as we could and ran even faster.

“Where are we going?” I asked Derek, panting like a dog.

“I don’t know! Just keep running like hell!” He replied, panting just as hard if not harder.

We ran so fast, too fast that I slipped and fell.

My knees and hands started to bleed.

"Lena, are you ok?" Derek asked, looking down at my hands and knees.

“I’m fine.” I answered back, pain striking my voice…

“Well, I think we lost them…” He said, looking through the thick trees into the little night that showed.

“What made him let go?” I asked, wondering again…

“I think it was when you screamed, maybe you scared the s**t outta him, hah hah.” He chuckled.
