• Living beyond the small villages near to the dark woods that surrounded each small town. Living in the woods near to a river, once lived in a small house a young little boy. His village was burned down, and forced to move away, far away into the woods so no one could attempt to kill the boy's family. Over years the boy grew alone. His parents died one day searching for food in the woods. Leaving the boy waiting for their return. The boy waited sitting under a small tree every morning waiting for them to arrive. Over the years the tree grew, and so did the boy, thus turning him into a man, then into a older man. The man never lost hope, waiting for his parents each morning. One day a young girl got lost in the woods. She was gorgeous, the elder man approached her crying under a tree. "Are you lost, young lady?" "Yes! Oh thank goodness someone's here!" The young lady was in her mid 20's and had green eyes with blonde curly hair. The elder man then led her home. She was so thankful she gave him a apple pie she made for her mother, but her mother left to work, so she gave it to him. A smile was like his thank you, then he walked back to his house far beyond the woods. The elder man has never seen a young lady in years, and noticed how alone he was. Visiting him each day, the young lady would stop by to give him pie. One day the girl did not come, and the elder man grew worried. Waiting there each day, not leaving too far just in case if she arrived to visit. 1 year later this young boy arrived at the elder man's house, braking news that his sister has been very ill so she couldn't visit. Then at the end dying of the pain. The elder man grabbed his chest and felt the pain of losing. The boy gave the elder man a puppet he carried in his bag. "Here, my sis said if you'll ever miss her play with her..." gazing upon the puppet it was a girl..with green eyes and curly hair like the girl. Leaving the man, it was the final time the elder man saw the boy. The elder man placing the puppet in a safe place then decided to make a puppet. He noticed that the puppet didn't look that similar to the young girl. So he decided to make one from memory. By the time the elder man was done, it was a puppet that could blink if you made it tilt. It had a smile like the girl's. The elder man made the hair shimmer such as the young girl. By the time the elder man was done with those, he decided making other puppets. One of his mom, his dad, his old friends and everyone he has met. Years and years passed, yet with no visits since the boy's. The elder man played with the puppets everyday. One day he decided to make one of himself. The lifeless gaze of the eyes of his puppet. And tears in his eyes. With nothing but a frown. The elder man once brought his puppet that looked like him to a well. The elder man started to cry, and cry. The pain he has felt remained deep upon his chest. He felt like a puppet with bad luck. Was that what he really was? A puppet? Just another souless puppet? A puppet... The elder man then jumped down the well, thus ending his life. His life as a human that is, next thing he knew he appeared in the puppet's body, a young boy then grabbed the puppet. Playing with it. Although the man could not speak, just blink when he was tilted. Tears rolled off his puppet body one day. He got what he always wanted..someone, someone to be with him always. The boy never put him down. And then one day bumped into the elder man's house, taking a quick peek at the place. Dropping the elder man's puppet body on the floor, running to the village. The elder man stood up in his puppet body and went to hug the young girl's puppet that blinked when you tilted her. The puppet girl then hugged him back, "I knew we would meet again" said the girl in the puppet body. Arriving back was the boy with many people. They then stuck the puppets in boxes. Making the puppets be in a museum. Forever to be shared with kids of all ages gazing upon the puppets. The elder man, and the young girl remained behind the same display, and even though the children aged the puppets remained there for years. And always the same thing the children would see, the young girl and the old man's puppet smiling and holding hands behind the display. Forever remaining holding hands...and forever sharing love for each other....
    The end.
