    02 - The Last Living Souls - Part 2
    The boy's hears were filled with a foreign sound now. He was so lost in thought that at first he did not recognize that it was a voice, a familiar voice nonetheless. “Get up!” echoed through his head. While he heard it, it took a few moments before he realized that the sound was not in fact in his head. The boy then snapped upright dropping his gun on the floor as the door opened and the fell off it's hinges into the wall revealing one of his tribesmen. A short, stalky man with dark skin and a large upper-body. His posture resembled that of a large simian and he probably could, if he wanted to, walk on his gigantic hands. Tin Man stood in the doorway and laughed hardily as the boy sat in shock. “Well come on you can't sleep all day Boy! Especially when I made breakfast!” He spoke with a deep tone, friendly, but deep to match his stature. The boy stood, picked up his toy, and headed out of the room into a larger room where the rest of his comrades greeted him. They were all seated around a flat board propped up with blocks of cinder. The large man brought out a hand-made pan filled with what looked like scrambled eggs, but what smelled like cooked sand. “I found some powdered eggs yesterday so I figured why not!” the large man said.
