• "Oh my god, I just had the most scary experience ever!" Tania says loudly while pulling on her hair.

"Why? What happened?" Yeng, my asian friend, asked her with curiosity in her eyes.

"Yesterday, my boyfriend and I were walking towards the short bridge nearby. We saw this guy under it, he was just sitting on the ground, he looked like he was waiting for something. Then suddenly... he disappears!" Tania emphasizes the last 2 words and shivered.

"Well... that was a bit anti-climatic..." Yeng comments, looking bored again. She went back to eating and placed earbud on her ears.

"Anti-climatic?! That was scary, I tell you!" Tania shrieks at Yeng. "Hey! Are you listening?!" she shrieks again.

"Maybe you were imagining it? What if he just left when you weren't looking?" I told Tania. She looked at me then looks at Yeng.

"Yeng! Jenn is trying to say something! I don't understand sign language so translate her message for me!" Tania says. Yeng pulls out her earbuds and sighs.

"I'm sorry, can you repeat that?" She tells me and I do as told. "She says maybe you were imagining it. Maybe he just left when you weren't looking." she translates.

"I did not imagine that! The guy literally started getting transparent!" Tania answers. "How about you go there yourself? He might appear again, y'know?" she adds

My phone rings and I checked who sent me a text. It was Yeng.

    From: Yeng

You don't have to go there. Just go home and forget what Tania said. I'm sure it was just another one of her delusions.

    xoxo

I smile and felt happy that she was concerned but I replied to her that I'm fine. I placed my phone back in my pocket and started walking towards the bridge. When I was near enough to see what's under, I did see a guy sitting on the ground.

As soon as I saw him, fear was all I felt. My instinct tells me to run, and I did. I ran away fast, I was afraid that he might kill me or drag me to the afterlife or--

arrow The next day after school

I'm so crazy. There's no way he could be a ghost. Yeng's right, it was just all part of Tania's delusions.

I started walking to the bridge. When I was near, I looked for a path where I could go under it. Fair enough, I did find a way down and went to talk to the boy.

I sat in front of him and observed his face. He had dirty blonde hair and dark blue eyes. He was wearing a t-shirt and some jeans.

"How long are you going to stare at me like that?" he suddenly speaks. I blushed after realizing that I was staring at him.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable." I apologized. He raises his eyebrow at me and I remembered that he might not understand me.

"Why are you apologizing?" I widen my eyes at his statement. He raises his eyebrow again. "Why do you look so shocked?" he asks

"Oh! It's nothing! I didn't expect you to understand sign language." I answer

"Ahh, I see..." he mutters under his breath. "What's your name?" he asks me. I take out my phone and typed my name. I showed the screen to him and he nods. "Jenna... nice name." I smile and

"Yours?" I ask him. He looks at me for a moment and smiles. "William..." he whispers softly.

"Nice name" William smiles at my compliment.

The sky was dark now, so I decide to tell him that I have to go. But something unusual happens....

    William was getting transparent...
