• Chapter One

I heard a loud scream of a cat, looking to my right and left I saw my cat run towards me with freighted eyes.I quickly picked her up and looked towards my father.
"Your stupid cat went in my room again!"He screamed.
"Y-y you should have locked the door."I whispered.
"Ugly worthless brat don't try and blame this on me!"He probably drunk I thought to myself.
    "Did you....hit her?"I asked in a pathetically.
"Of course that's the only way they learn!"
Looking at him in disgust I said,"you shouldn't hit a mother of four."
He looked at me and said cats don't have feeling.
"She looks pretty hurt to me,"Regretting what i just said.
He took out a belt from the closet and ran towards me he hit me directly on my back hard enough to leave a bruise.I touched my back and felt the texture of the belt it left behind it was the leather and metal one this time.Looking at me with a childish face he walked back in his room and probably continued drinking.I looked at my twin sister she looked at my mother she was watching the whole time,I gave her a dirty look and walked to get my shoes and sweater. My sister along side I went walking with her to the park.
"Did it hurt?"She asking looking straight ahead.
"No it felt like heaven." I replied sarcastically and grinned.
We arrived,I looked around the bleachers to see if any one was still there.
    "Empty,"She sighed.
    "Yeah,more space for us."
"Hes getting more and more annoying by the days."I looked at her for a while.
"Yeah, hes acts just like a kid huh?"
"Well if I'm ugly hes uglier besides its his fault I was born."
    "Heh,suppose so,"
"I need me some beer and a one year plan to get my a** outta this pathetic excuse for a town."
She looked at me with a wide grin on her face."Don't we all?"
"I'd hate to end up dead on the sidewalk ya know."
Kicking the dirt on the floor I looked at my sister.
"Hey do you think she was watching?"
"Mhm,"she replied she looked as if she were gonna cry.
"Rotten women she didn't even give a damn well I guess we on our own eh?"
"Pretty selfish she lets him talk s**t about us,"she was mad.
"Well its can't be helped when you marry a childish man like that."
