• Questioning my world and dreams here today
I ask what I have, what I need in life
The answer comes now, a nice shade of gray,
Swirling and writhing in a game of strife

It’s only a game, no problems right here
So why do I feel that I can’t be good
Intertwining thoughts, is that even fear?
Confusion and lies, contracting, a hood

Come back does the gray, but lined with bright gold
For I finally see the truth within
The gray is my gift, delightfully cold
More part of me now, as if my own kin

My life is in gray, though colorfully so
Contrasting the sky, the earth, and the snow.
