• How I met Beth

    A crowded hall,

    A lonely girl.

    A smiling guy,

    A screwed up world.

    A day of tears,

    A weak of fears.

    A month of lies,

    So many ******** up years.

    Spring means life,

    Winter means death.

    Though you'd never know,

    That's how I met Beth.

    She sat on a bench,

    Covered in snow.

    Pale as paper,

    From head to toe.

    I walked to her,

    But what I saw.

    I was not expecting,

    Not at all.

    Her skin was blue,

    Her eyes stark white.

    Her lips purple,

She looked as though she'd never seen light.

    I called 911,

    Told them my name.

The lady told me they're on their way,

So I waited as they came.

    They got here fast,

    And almost drove past.

    They checked her heart,

Then put her on a cart.

I followed them for I had to be sure,

That she lived, that single frozen girl.

When I arrived they took her to the back,

So I waited till the doctor came.

"Hello sir, the girl is alright,

Any later and we could never have spared her life.

    She's in room 103,

But a nurse must go along for the girl's safety."

I nodded my head then walked to the room,

There was the girl who fell like a broom.

She asked me one thing I will never forget,

"Did you save me good sir, because I have no regret."

    She told me her name,

    I told her mine.

Her smile was just like the sun that shined,

Beth and I got along just fine.
