• Who Knows?

    Who knows what it means,
    Who knows what it says,
    Who knows where it is,
Whether it ever goes to bed.

    Who knows how it feels,
    Who knows what it believes,
    Who knows when it came,
    Whether it will ever leave.

    I've seen it here,
    I've seen it there',
    Sometimes I see it everywhere.

    It comforts me,
    It frightens me,
It comes slowly in the night to me.

    My heads a buzz,
    Full of bundles of fluff,
    dizzy and dazed,
    My mind fades away,

    Who knows what it is,
    Who knows what might be,
I stumble along, feeling strangly free.

    I know without doubt,
    No matter what might be,
This thing that frightens and comforts,
    Will never leave me.
