• I am a tome,

    Encased elegantly,
    Seen by all,
    Just as I rise,
    So shall I fall;

    Deceiving at first glance,
    Yet true when ajar;
    Unique in my own,
    No other for afar;

    Teach thee much,
    Yet still not enough;
    As I, seen soft,
    Same true for rough;

    Seen as just a volume,
    Sitting there amidst ruck,
    I rise to stand as
    One, tall and unstruck;

    Though calm and serene,
    No head for the clouds;
    I speak true and strong,
    Brave, clear and loud;
