• His mind tied down under prescription chains

He talks so little as if in daze

He feels not the pain so sympathy he does not need

He feels nothing even when he bleeds

It’s good to feel nothing you can never be sad, you never be angry

And you’ll never be mad, who needs those emotions they’re a stupid part of life

Or does he just think this to lower his strife

Is he free from what makes him sad?

Or is the lack of feeling driving him mad

He can’t tell he just sits still till its time to take another pill.

He works he obeys he smiles.

    Slowly dying all the while.

This boy whose mind is tied is he better then if he died.

Is this numbing the cure to his dreaded disease?

Or is it just a act to make him feel pleased?
