• An Angel’s Plea

    Lying on the ground
    consumed by doubts and fears;
covered in a sheet of sins
    and virgin tears.
    My heart
    Broken
    my soul
    sold.
Bought for currency more precious than gold.
Sold in exchange for kindness and love
    a tender gesture
    as soft as a dove.
Forgive me father, for I have sinned.
    Do not turn away
    do not ignore my plea.
    I need you
    in my soul
    in my heart.
I need you, before my sins
    tear me apart.
    You gave us everything
    your miracles
    your son.
    To rid us of sin
    he gave us his body,
    his blood.
I am your vessel, you are my savior.
Your love, a passionate flame in my heart.
So please, do not turn away, do not ignore
    me.
For I am angel, whose wings tore apart.

    Misty Dreams and Silent Prayers

Safe and sound within my bed,
as angels fly over my head,
I find comfort in my dreams,
    drowning out the silenced screams,
of one so kind and oh so fair,
    as they utter desperate prayer,
“Forgive me father, for I have lied,
I’ve kept a smile through all my stride,
But I crave for gentle devotion,
not lust, not sex, but a soft emotion,
I want to be loved and held close by,
If I'm not, I'll surely die.
Please dear father, hear my plea,
send an angel down to me.
So he may clear away my tears,
wash away my doubts and fears,
that seep into my spine and bones,
I don't want to be alone.
Let your kindness be the spark,
that brings me forth, out of the dark.”
