Here they come
I can hear their sides heave
Shifting and shaking,
the Earth is quaking,
Here come the machines
They roll and they crawl
with no souls at all
Just hissing and burning
with their insides turning
Scraping the face of the world
All creatures flee
when these beasts appear
They scatter and shriek
From the cold metal fear
Like shadows of waste
the toxic fumes grow
It seeps through our air
Smothering all that we know
And so here they come
I can see their eyes gleam
Moaning and sighing,
the Earth is dying,
here come the machines
