• On the outskirts of a small town, on a makeshift stage
A crowd is gathered in front of it, waiting to see their leader
A boy of fourteen walks to center stage, cheers erupt
He holds up his hands and yells, "Today is the day to stand and fight"
A young girl form the crowd climbs onto the stage, the crowd is silent
She askes to talk, the young boy hands her the microphone
"You gathered today to stand and fight for the end of the war.
You hear about so many innocent lives lost, so many crying families.
Yet how many of you have family membes or friends there?"
The crowd remained silent, and the young girl nodded
"My dad is fighting in the war you want to end, and I am proud of him.
Now before you march through the streets, yelling your chant,
Ask yourself some questions, and think about what you are doing.
Think of all the families, friends, husbands, and wives you are upsetting.
Think of all the daads and moms, like mine, fighting in the war."
The young girl paused, and one person in the crowd stood
Others followed suit and begged her to go on, and she continued
" I came her today to show you the offense of you actions,
To show you the pride my dad and other soliders have you the United States
But standing here I realize that words are better than videos
No if you want you can march through town I won't stop you
The rest can follow me as I walk from this stage
The young girl handed the microphone back to the boy
And walked away followed by all but the stunned boy, still at center stage
