• I woke up in bed,
    To another painful day,
    I felt for my fingers,
    My vision was gray.

    You see, I am blind.
    And my body is weak.
    my bones are like glass,
    only medicine i seek.

    I had paper skin,
    and lived in a cast,
    preserved i am,
    for my body dies fast.

    sometimes my fingers,
    will fall off and rot,
    to me sponge is heavy,
    and light is very hot.

    when i get up,
    i break my spine,
    often at night,
    my liver burns like wine,

    at 7:00 sharp,
    my kidneys break,
    nutrients were pumped into me,
while i rot in my wake.

    I'm on 70 painkillers,
    all wired to me,
    the thing i miss most,
    is a sweet melody.

    my room is sound proof,
    rythms crack my skull,
    my stomach failed last week,
    my life sure is dull.

    my shin broke again,
    then breakfast was served,
    processed vitamin in tubes,
    into my blood was inserted.

    all of a sudden,
    my leg was being licked,
    something furry was scuttling,
as it yelped my skull creaked.

    It was a small puppy,
    that came in the door,
    my bandages loosened,
    and fell on the floor.

    my legs started rotting,
    my knee turned to dust,
    the weight of the puppy,
was like that of a bus.

    It crushed my ribs,
    and flattened my organs,
    but i didnt care,
    he was my only companion.

    eventhough all my bones splintered,
    i cradled the puppy,
    lovingly in my arms,
    first time i felt happy.

    a tube snapped,
    there goes my arm,
the machines went beeeeeeeeeeeeee............... wahmbulance wahmbulance wahmbulance wahmbulance wahmbulance wahmbulance wahmbulance wahmbulance : down sank my palm.

    another line broke,
    down the bed i went,
    the nurses panicked,
and for the doctor they sent.

    my waist was ripping,
    my head felt wet,
    I groped for the puppy,
I was still glad we met.

    the machines screeched loudly,
    the doctor ran up,
    my bones were all fragmented,
i hoped my death was abrupt.

    i petted the puppy,
    it licked my face,
my first and last gesture of love.
    yet i die in a snail-like pace.

    my intestines melted,
    my gizzard leaked,
    my lungs fizzed and burnt,
    my whole body reeked.

I groaned as my neck snapped,
    my toenails fell right off.
bodily juices leaked out my mouth,
    i mustered a sickly cough.

    my pace-maker short circuited.
    sending pulses through my body,
I died with my furry friend in my sight,
no last breath, no last heart beat.
