• Filled with anger, rage, and hate the dragon
fumed as he debated on the kingdom's fate.

Burning the entire kingdom down in one swift strike
would make him look like a tike, an unruly child
who thorws a tantrum untamed and wild.

Ignoring this injustice however would not do for in
doing so it could create injustices anew.

The citizens, no those humans had forgotten the ancient
beast that had never bothered to interrupt a single feast.

Sure every now and then he would kill a nearby human, but that
was just to keep them away so his hoard with him could always stay.

Indeed this sin against this mighty serpent would not go unpunished.

Therefore enraged he soared thourgh the smoke filled sky,
setting every human within his sight aflame chuckling
as he watched each individual die.

Now don't go and start thinking that the dragon
went out and destroyed everything in one blow.

He the serpent of hellfire was far too intelligent of a foe,
he attacked frequently that is for sure.

But even dragons need thier rest so they have the energy to endure.
