Dry winds carry
Eurydice’s cries for
Orpheus’s sweet music
His frozen heart
Journeys so south
To the underworld
He walks through
Hades’ blizzard which
Guards gates to the fiery pits
The lyre’s music
Melts icebergs that block
Charon’s way to Tartarus
Passing Hades
Who cries
In dry valleys
Hermes stop following
Apollo’s cattle like the
Sun circles the horizon
The Furies tears
Burn belongings
Of departed souls
Close to life
Eurydice fades
To the grey fields of Asphode

- Description: This is is about Antartica with a greek twist. If you research it then it will become a sad love poem. This comes from the bottom of my pit-less heart.
