• Behind Those Words

Behind those words I don't know
Who you are and where you live.
I type my words to you, thinking so,
What type of friendship would you give?

    You are mysterious and kind,
    Your face, I cannot see,
    In my pondering mind.
Are you a friend or enemy?

I try to picture your face.
But even still, both of us are
    Anonymous, a veiled case.
    We are separated by far.

    And when we finally meet,
    I see how you,
But this can’t happen, this feat.
    We are anonymous, us two.
