I really loved you,
And everything you would do.
So when you looked at other people,
I pretended that I didn't see you.

But when I met him,
He said he loved me too.
And that was when,
I had no idea what to do.

He had a girlfriend, too,
Does that matter to you?
I loved him more than I loved you,
But I just couldn't forget about you.

You did love me, I know,
By the small things you said and did.
I understood that, you know,
Which is why I didn't want to let you go.

But I just can't understand this,
I can't figure it out.
It seems like it's endless,
And I don't know how it will turn out.

So believe me when I say I love you,
Because I do mean it, I do!
But don't be upset, don't hate me,
Just because I love him too.

It's nice and simple.
The rhyming is annoying though, especially when you repeat the same word in order to rhyme once up there.
But it is an easy conveying of feelings.
