A Different Girl's Tale

• Description: First off, I changed the title and the last stanza to hide the girl's name that I used. In summary, she's a perfectly normal and accepted girl until they find out who she is in the inside. The second to last stanza says that the girl commited suicide and that her sister finally had a realization of how everyone had wronged the girl. (*Fictional*) (written 8/12/08)

A lesbien, she was
A pagen too
Her sister found out
And soon they all knew

And once they found out
And once they all knew
They planned to avoid her
They planned to eschew

The only way out
She was shrouded in despair
She looked to her family
But they couldn't care

She continued to smile
She continued to hope
Then started to cry
And could no longer cope

But whom has she wronged?
What harm has she done?
They didn't think twice
But only to shun

"It's in the Bible!"
They all said
"That proves it, she's evil"
And all nodded their head

And after her decision
Her sister had a thought
Self-destruction of the innocent
And it was all for naught

So when messengers of God
Split hearts like a nail
The wise shall turn
And remember this tale.
