Was it always this cold? This endless forever?
Why have you left me here? No escape. Not ever.
These endless dunes of sand, I fear I'll never leave.
These forgotten memories of old, Why do I still beleive?
I see you there, far away on the other side.
Your turned away, not looking for me. I fell apart, though how I tried.
Now I see the truth through all the lies.
I see the ghosts shineing though your eyes.
And now I know your feelings, it's true.
It's your turn to hurt, I never loved you.

- Title: A False Love
- Artist: Onyx Zhentarim
- Description: This is dedicated to all those whom have or had a ‘broken heart’. Even though if you had a broken heart.......wouldn’t that mean you’d be dead?

The last two lines were the best and soul of the poem. I feel the rest doesn't fit though. Through the power of the last two lines one would assume the lines before were about an awakening or revelation of a love never been. Instead, they speak of a love that certainly was there hence the pain, rendering the last line meaningless. Great idea though.
I do like the description too. People assume a broken heart mends...sometimes a broken heart is the death of a person... - Report As Spam
