As days go by,
I feel myself withering,
The years that passed,
Have left me empty.
The heat in my face,
Yet I feel myself shudder,
My dreams are now departing,
And my hopes down under.
From the window to the carpet,
And the wall to the heater,
The only thing left now,
Is death to fear.
I've come a long way,
With my Preist-like son,
But my life on this world,
Is almost gone.
So goodbye my family,
My friends; I've tried,
84 years I am,
But 85 is not mine.

- I like the perspective of this poem, it's cute. Very sad but I understand where it came from smile

- people may think this way at a young age but though out it all we must not give up in life no matter how much goes wrong we must always move on.
