Sometimes my music

I am my music

I may play it as loud as an earthquake
Or as quite as a still summer night

Sometimes my music is like a swan
Graceful and peaceful

Sometimes my music has the heat of a fire

Sometimes my music has the repetitive rhythm
Of a roaring, raging, rapid

Especially the rat-tat-tat of the drums
Or the whining and whaling of the electric guitar

Whatever my mode- my music is my soul food
