I look through the words under me and see the earth. It looks like I'm in space. Then the words grab hold of me and begin to drag me under, like I'm drowning. It’s full of live and yet none at all

The shadows raping tighter around me
The oceans pulling me deeper to drown me
My thoughts are a blur my heart is unsure
The world is turning slower and slower around me

My blood, my sweat, my tears in this life
My love, my hate, my soul is alive
Yet I feel like I’m dead inside
My words, my thoughts, my dreams
What do they all mean, tell me
In this time, this age, this world today
