A raindrop slides down my window,
Slowly and swerving around,
I lay there silently and watch it,
For many more raindrops are found.
The thunder booms and crashes,
Loud and makes me jump.
The house shakes and rattles,
With a big ol' booming thump.
The lightning dances and makes patterns,
On my bedroom wall,
Flashing brightly all over,
Outlining the raindrops that fall.
Like an angels tears from heaven,
The lightning as bright as a dove,
I can't help but wonder,
Who is watching me from above.
