Another Sunrise

• Description: This was wrote one morning as the sun was coming up.
  I had mixed emotions about my insomnia and was tired
  of being awake to watch the sun go down and it to come
  back up again. Will anything ever change?

Another sunrise comes, it rises before my eyes
Prior was I in the dark, thoughts flashing across my mind
No thought stays there, it just passes by
More thoughts to come, until I see another sunrise

As more time goes on, in the dark I still lay
This time I wonder, will any thought stay
Some thoughts bring smiles others I cast away
Soon will be another sunrise, another sunrise as I lie still awake

Between these small dreams the pain will come
Though pain can be subsided with the happy thoughts to come
Eyelids grow heavy, and still I lie awake
Another sunrise has come, yet the thoughts still remain
I stand and prepare for this new day, until dark falls
I prepare to see another sunrise again
