• Love is…
    An abstract feeling
Where we can’t touch or grasp it.
    But we can feel it!
Feeling it in our hearts as
    We take it whole.
    Seeing it in our eyes
Not recognizing what it looks like.
Tasting it like melted chocolate –
    Sliding down your throat
And into the heart of joy
    With thumping and goose bumps
    Tingling all over.
    Then again,
    It may become too
    Confusing?
    Dangerous?
    Scared of broken hearts?
    Scared of broken bones?
    Scared of being alone?
Love can be so over-rated and frustrated.
    What can you do?
    Falling in love?
    Yet feeling pressured
    That’s the feeling of
    Saying it is now over.
    Wanting to break up
    Tired of your voice,
    Saying “hey sexy,”
    But not “hey beautiful.”
    Tired of your smile
Sparkling from that fresh mint gum--
    You were chewing--
    Every single day!
    Tired of your eyes
    Glistening under the sunlight.
Love comes only once, in awhile.
You are falling head over heels
    Of fate ness.
Or falling flat on the cement
    Of fake-ness.
    ‘This is love.’
