• Cowering, frightened, children cry,
With bleeding hearts and hopeless dreams,
They watch their loved ones die,
The world they’re brought up in is disastrous,
Repressing each innocent soul under fear,
The enemy they go up against is monstrous,
Knowing nothing, they hold onto this life so dear,

They weep for their lost lovers,
    And die for their sisters,
Risk their lives for their brothers,
Yet condone the doubt in their emotional twisters,
“What have I to risk? “
Is a question that runs through their minds,
Plastering irreversible hatred all over their wrists,
They jump into death’s arms in lines,

The pains they can no longer control,
Overcomes them like an incurable virus,
One that devours their nation as a whole,
Forcing them as people to falter,
Upon the world as its unneeded toll,

But freedom is all they ask for,
For peace is what they dream of,
Except when we have turned our backs on the rightful door,
Humanity will never be able to grasp onto its white dove,

Unless each individual puts aside their ignorance,
And works together to make this world a better place,
We must put down this unneeded belligerence,
And stop this fiend called fear from hounding humanity’s face.

So let us be the light to their darkness,
And show them that war is history,
To prevent them from becoming a psychological mess,
We could finally solve this ridiculous mystery.
