• Description: Alright, well this is the first time I've submitted anything on gaia, and this also happens to be my first piece of poetry. Last night, at 1:30 a.m., i just so happen to get this brain blast of somesort and had all these words in my head and i thought it was amazing. Other than poetry I'm trying to write songs and so far the songs havnt gone as well the poetry-whoa, I'm really going off topic here. Alright, I hope u like it =]

What do you want from me?
I've done everything i could do:
hair flips, make up checks, flirting nostop.
you don't notice its all for you.

Do you not get it,
or are you playing "hard to get"?
You make me feel so stupid.
All the times I flirted, i regret.

Time for bed, I turn off my phone.
Next morning comes, texts and voicemails
all from the same person
all in very good detail.

I hear his voice, I read his words
he wants me at the park
he'll be sitting on the park bench
also said to meet him before dark

I go and all I see is him,
sitting on the bench like he said he'd be.
When I'm with him I notice I smile.
he told me, "I love you, be with me."

i felt like i would hate the happy weird-ending, but it left me quite loving inside. good work.
