• Walking alone
    In the dead of night,
    No one here,
    Im all alone.
    Head hung low,
    Eyes to the floor,
Burdened by the thought of you.
    Thinking of you,
    And you alone,
    A lone tear falls
    And crashes to the ground.
    With no one here
    By my side,
    The night grows,
    Ever colder.
    Tears flow,
    As do my thoughts;
    Where did you go?
    Why did you leave?
    A soft touch
    Upon my shoulder
    Raises my head
    That i may see.
    Here, now,
    In front of me,
    Is a sight that
    I cannot believe.
    The tears stop
    And a smile breaks,
    Night fades away
    As day breaks.
    I hold my head
    in its rightful place,
    Now that the weight
    Has been lifted.
    What my eyes see
    Is too great for words,
    What my eyes see
    Is you.
